That makes two of us! I have put out an APB on Twitter for an ex CID to read LTSC for me, I have a couple of contacts my cousin's husband is/was Chief Constable or Inspector of Nottingham and Jo's ex fiance's step father was a DI in Derbyshire I am going to see if one of them will read and advise on what I need to change. I think a policeman's perspective will help me no end.
Darkangel wrote: "That is an excellent idea."I am now trying to sort out how to keep Malcolm a secret, I started out with him being a secret by calling him the beast - somewhere I need to get in the quote about the beast within us all and once unleashed..... and meanwhile I have HOD to finish too I need more head space!
Darkangel wrote: "Coffee time, I think, need somethign to get me through this horrible windy day."Yes it was windy and wet last night here, I took Hugo out for a wee last night he likes to go in the big garden while I stand freezing my ass off or like last night getting as wet as he does! He's clean now which is a relief al that's left is to stop him whining everytime I go out of his sight! He's okay in the house it's when I go out the gate and leave him the other side where the problem lies. He used to be left alone all day by his previous owners - which Hugo now punishes me for!
I need some help. For my "Impersonating a Doormat", i don't think I want to write as me, any ideas on a Pseudonym for me..
I was thinking, S. Gearing. Gearing was my nans maiden name.
Darkangel wrote: "Oh the poor thing."He will settle, but it will take time, putting him in the car to him means he's being moved again, 3 owners with a matter of weeks, and mother gave him back after one night, he hasn't had a chance to bond with anyone until us. He's got to learn to trust us and that when we take him out we will be coming home with him later. He's asleep in his basket now, he's helped me eat my breakfast he and eclair have played and now he's resting.

How about an anagram of your name?
Darkangel wrote: "I bet he is so cute when he is curled up in a ball asleep."yep, like a little ball of fluff, and so soft and cuddly when he decides to lie still, perhaps I should get a baby carrier for him then he can go in the shops with me, they can't complain if he's attached to me surely?
Darkangel wrote: "Yes it uses all my letters and didn't even have to go in to my middle name."Eva wrote: "Morning!
@sarah, did ella send you an email yet?
@Darkangel, why would you want to use a name?"
Morning Eva no not a sausage, she's cutting it fine!
Darkangel wrote: "Yes it uses all my letters and didn't even have to go in to my middle name."So as not to change your Karma you have to use all the letters of your given name on your birth certificate!
Darkangel wrote: "I just feel somethings will sound better or feel better to me, written under a different name."It's difficult without an e!

Eva wrote: "http://uk.news.yahoo.com/amazon-says-..."Well how I understand that is not all customers, just the ones affected by the price fixing.
I know the refunds policy is not popular. I do think you should only be allowed a refund in the first 24 hours UNLESS there is something wrong with the book- like a corrupted file. Refunds should be limited- say you get 5 max in a year. I mean really if you pay 2.99 for a book and you don't like it seems a bit stingy to ask for your money back if there is nothing actually wrong with the product.
It is good to see the market increasig for e-books though.

I don't think people are wanting refund becuase of the books, the are wanting refunds because publishing houses are charging more for ebooks than for paperbacks, which in theory should be cheaper to make since there's no paper involved...Mostly now adays since its so easy to get pirate ebooks

They are making ebooks more expensive to hold on to their jobs! No printing means no work! I prefer real books anyway!
Trisha wrote: "Morning"Morning Trisha looks like everyone's busy today. I just finished reading through and custom editing my second novel and now I have to go back to the beginning and start all over again. Normally author's lose the plot in the middle I got side tracked at the beginning next time I will follow my notes! The end and the middle I am happy with it's nothing major just credibility that's lacking, need to do some mega research beforehand.
Not too bad at the moment. Got a bit of baking to do on Thursday evening. We have a coffee and cake morning here at the hospital to raise money for Breast Cancer and CancerKin. Most of the staff bake, and all cakes and goodies are normally gone by 12.30pm
