Sarah Weldon (sarahrweldon-author) | 6045 comments Morning hun,

How are you this morning it's grey and damp here, not the weather we were promised at all, it was supposed to be fine until Wednesday evening. Why do the weather people only manage to predict the bad weather correctly?

We should re-name this chat Sharon and Sarah's moan page, no one else seems to drop in!

I'm having a change of vegetable today I'm making carrot cake and I might sneak in a chocolate pumpkin cake for good measure!

I said I would make them for Jo she is having a pamper party, beauty treatments in the home tupperware style!

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) Hiya hun, that is always a tough question because either way you look like the bad person. I think she deserves to know. Maybe drop a hint like - "Oh I saw so and so the other day, he didn't seem me, looked like he was in a rush etc". Especially if he was meant to be at work at that time. That is the only way I can think of without her coming outright and saying the truth.

Jo did it the sneaky way she told someone with the biggest gob in the area, who said she was sure it was best to tell her, but before doing so she would telephone to let Jo know what she was about to do! She hasn't rung yet, I will be seeing the poor unfortunate woman on Wednesday at the pamper party. I have been known on occasions to open my mouth and put my size 6 feet in my open mouth on more than once!

So who knows! Well in truth by now it would seem everyone in the surounding area but Pippa!

Well it won't be me that tells her then I have to drive back home later in the afternoon sophie has school on Thursday.

We'll let Fat Fay do it! Don't worry I'm not being mean it's what we nicknamed her and dates back to her being pregnant!

She's even better at dropping bombshells like this than me or Jo!

How about this:- Hi Pippa, I saw you and Chris last night in Domfront, I waved but you couldn't have seen me, you'd just got off the bike! I didn't think you liked riding pillion! It must have been you I thought how nice it was to see you kissing and cuddling us old marrieds normally don't do that!

Mm... I'll keep that in mind maybe an Erika plot? I am now getting the bride ready for the wedding I have a brief stop off with the viagra and the old tart and then to the grand finale! 10300 plus I will come out at about 107 - 110,000 at an estimated guess. About the same as the first novel and that ended up at 102,000 at the end of the editing. An awful lot of that's this's and just's!

Yep the little beggars were everywhere, I got to the point oh not not another! What did you think of 43! He has gone off in search of his vigra I think I might have him bonking her senseless and Malcolm walk in, luckily for Gavin he has been true to his word and put a bag on her head.

So he'll make a comment about an ugly fat bird was all he could lay his hands on at such short notice. And that one hole was the same as another with the bag over her head and he was good at imagining as far as he was concerned he was f****** Claudia Schiffer! Oops blundered there sorry!

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) 43 - very gripping. Very exciting. Loving it, can't wait to proof read it.

Nearly there hopefully I should be done by the week end unless Alain finds things I must do between now and then! He asks every day if the mower man has called which he hasn't, patience says I, knowing full well he has zero patience, he needs to learn to chill out!

message 463: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) No men have patience, it has to be dealt with yesterday - lol

Or the day before, I'm worried he is developing Alzheimers he forgets everything lately, he locked his house the other day and left the keys in the lock for three days he had me searching everywhere for them. He swore blind he had bought them here!

Here you can still do that and get away with it, I leave my car unlocked for days at a time. Who would take my old battered bright red right hand drive, English plated car anyway.

No one the police would pull them in no time it does rather stick out a bit like a sore thumb!

message 467: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) If only England was as safe as that.

message 468: by Sarah (new)

Sarah Weldon (sarahrweldon-author) | 6045 comments Sharon wrote: "If only England was as safe as that."

That's why I'm here, its a safer place to bring up a child, don't get me wrong there are still perverts here, but everyone knows everyone else's child. It's kind of a enormous babysitting ring.

She chases through the field of corn behind the house with the dog and I don't worry, except that she might get lost and be frightened but the dog will always lead her home.

Children here can be children, without the same worries I would be a basket case bringing her up in England never letting her out of my sight.

I can usually switch off but I had a very rare commodity in my eyes too! The sun going down on me and I was heading West! I couldn't see a thing at times, I was glad when it started getting dark!

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) I just went and got a caramel latte and cranberry flapjack, just to boost the energy to get me through the long day.

I hope that is a diet flapjack, though I have to own up to a McChicken sandwich last night without the fries though.

message 482: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) Full of pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, coconut, so I would hope it would be a diet one, but I did have a chinese last night but I have the rest of my dinner for my lunch today - naughty I know but it is lovely.

I still feel tired out, all my get up and go has got up and gone. I enjoyed my pamper day though, I had reflexology on my feet, Jo said it was painful though I didn't find it so, but the Indian head massage was lovely. Though not advisable in your lunch hour! You come out looking like Worsel Gummidge!

message 486: by Sharon (new)

Why are you going for an Indian head massage too! Morning how are you today hun?

I'm still tired if that's what reflexology does for you I'll give it a miss! Though I wouldn't mind trying a fish pedicure! Apparently you put your feet in a tank full of little fish and they nibble away at all your dead skin!

message 488: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) I might be going to have one of those at the weekend.... I am fine, busy as hell today as Fiona is off sick so I am covering her at the moment.

What the fish pedicures, you'll have to let me know what it feels like!

We are going to look at Alain's brothers caravan he's selling it cos he's just bought a posher one It will be useful for when we get invaded with people wanting to come for a holiday and we do have the room! Then they can cook there own breakfasts!

message 490: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) That is a good idea, camping in your back garden. There is a place near where i live that do the fish pedicures but to date, I still ahve not found it yet!

look it up on the net, no pun intended! Yes I think so too you and monst could come over for a break! Mind its a long drive from Calais our nearest ferry port is St Malo that's about 120 km the same distance as the airport which is just down the road at Dinard!

message 492: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) I will look in to that one, especially as my boss has a house in Brittany and she said I could use the house whenever I want (providing she is not using it).

Cool, I'll swap! Welcome to the chatroom nice to have someone else to talk too, Sharon and I thought we had BO or something. We very rarely get to chat to anyone else, being in Europe we are always in the wrong time zone to be able to chat to the others!

message 497: by Sarah (new)

Sarah Weldon (sarahrweldon-author) | 6045 comments Sharon wrote: "Will do when she is back in on Tuesday. What you got planned for today?"

Lunch in about 20 minutes waiting for Alain he's just rung to say he was late finishing work and then I think I might nip quickly into Pontivy to Lidl and see if they still have any of the footbaths with pedicure attachments left. I didn't have the spare cash when they were first in so I might not be lucky, and treatments like the fish tank cost an arm and probably a leg and I would have to drive to the coast to a spa, I think the nearest is in Finistere. Yes that place on the shipping forecasts really does exist!

message 498: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) That is always the way when you see something you like or want. Happens to me all the time - lol

Yep, my own fault I overspent by going to Normandy with the hotel fuel and treatments I spent more than I should have. I couldn't stay with Jo there wasn't the room with her friend from England being there too. Pity I didn't have the caravan then I could have taken it with me!

message 500: by Teresa (new)

Teresa (koalateabooks) naw, that's so cool you guys are in europe. i feel so isolated living in Australia D: 'cause usually when i'm on, every one else is going to bed >.>
but i have holidays now so i get to go on more during the day :)
