Ok Dylan why do vampires have to sleep in coffins. In the early days most poeple could not afford coffins and were simply buried in a winding sheet in a hole in the ground. This is from the Phantom World by Augustine Calmet circa 1750 is a book concerning vampires and witchcraft and their relation to God and relgeon. The last part of this book is stright up a about vampires. The first part is about magic, daemons, Angels, and such other stuff and how it relates to God.
