Franky heard movement, and left Calin and Sevira to go nearer to the clearing.
Roan groaned again, and rolled out of her wing blanket, the voices had finally stirred her from her sleep.

((nite))

Calin saw that some of the experimentals were awake. He didn't know if he should approach though. "Go," Sevira whispered. Calin remembered what Franky had said. "Don't you at least want to meet them?" Sevira asked, her voice silky and sweet. Calin stepped forward a little, then hesitated. "I..."
Aiden realized that he smelled something new. Franky? No. It wasn't new. It was dangerously familiar. The scent of that man. Only Aiden had seen that man, so he couldn't verify, but he didn't need to. "It's him.." He said aloud, he was that certain. His eyes flashed with the color of anger. The man that had hurt everyone.... His eyes kept flashing red and golden, then became a mix of the two. He was so angry at the man... But he remembered Rei/Ryo looking at him after he felt dazed, and he was starting to feel dazed now. What had happened...? His head started to hurt, he blinked and his eyes turned solid gold, then solid red. The scent, as he focused on it, it became stronger. Aiden winced as his head started to throb with the battle, his wing was becoming a darker shade of gold, the white feathers turning a dirty, bright red.
"Oh! So you're not even an experimental but a..." she trailed off before she could say what she had been thinking.
"Aiden what's wrong," she then said, noticing that he was acting strange.
"Aiden what's wrong," she then said, noticing that he was acting strange.

Roan reached out and took Aiden's hand reassuringly. Then she turned to look in the same direction Aiden was facing.

Roan didn't know why Aiden was upset with the newcomer, but she couldn't allow the half gryphon to just kill him! With the same wicked speed and strength possessed by a dragon, Roan flew forward and separated Calin and Aiden. Her wings were fully extended and her claws probably dug into the arms of the two as she gripped them. Her thick boots felt painfully tight as the talons on her feet tried to dig into the ground.

Aiden snarled. "It's him... The bus... The spirits..." Calin peered at Aiden. His voice .. it was different, echoed by someone else it seemed. Or maybe he was trying to split apart. Not Aiden. The other thing in him. Either it would break free or take control of Aiden. It wasn't a spirit, though. Calin didn't know what it was.
