Is there a reason why all the Beowulf translations aren't combined together? The impression that I got was that anything that was the same work in different translations was to be combined.

Just curious if there was a specific reason.

The ones listed with the author Anonymous (busy fellow he was) are all combined. (Whether they were 4 hours ago when you posted I don't know.) The ones with the translator listed as author (such as the Seamus Heaney translation) cannot be merged, because it is only possible to merge books by a single author. (Currently, anyway.)
