Georgie Payne (georgiep) | 18 comments Has anyone read The Blood Ties series and if you have then what did you think of it. I'm going to read The first one after I read Queen of the damned. I would happily take comments

Jess | 3721 comments I liked the first book, and then for me the series just slowly started sucking as it went on. By the last book I just skimmed to find out what happened in the end but it was more curiosity sake than anything else.

Then again, I've heard others say they really enjoy it. So don't not read it because of me. Give it a try and let us know what you think about it.

Georgie Payne (georgiep) | 18 comments I think I'm going to give it a go. It looks like its somthing I might be interested into. I always give everything at least 50 pages.

Yz the Whyz (whyz) | 187 comments I read the first one and I like it enough to get the next two books. Somewhere in the middle of Book 2, I did not like where it was going and did not finish it. Never pick up Book 3.

message 5: by Lenore (new)

Lenore (lenorenrr) | 205 comments I do NOT recommend her other series Queen of Light. The first book was okay... the second not so much. I got an ARC of American Vampire so we will see.

message 6: by Irene (new)

Irene Hollimon | 130 comments I loved the Blood Ties series. I was bummed when I found out there weren't going to be anymore. I didn't read the faerie series she wrote after that. I'm looking forward to American Vampire when it comes out.
I like fey but I'm more of a vampire/werewolf girl.

Steph (angel4492) | 1573 comments Georgie, I really liked them. But, I read them years ago, so I can't offer much more than that. Early Onset Alzheimers and too many books!

Jessa Moore (jessa_moore) | 6 comments I loved all the Blood Ties books. I even recommended them to my sister and she loved them as well. I just found out about American Vampire though, so hopefully that's a good one too.

message 11: by Jess (new)

Jess | 3721 comments She has a new book coming out: American Vampire by Jennifer Armintrout

I have it on my to-read list, but I'm not sure if it's going to be any good. I wasn't a big fan of her Blood Ties series and heard bad reviews about her faerie series.

Jessa Moore (jessa_moore) | 6 comments That's already out, Jess. I saw it at the book store yesterday. :D I was just excited that it had my name in it. Haha

message 13: by Jess (new)

Jess | 3721 comments I love when I read books and my name pops up. That's so awesome. Well, if you read it, let us know how it is.

Jessa Moore (jessa_moore) | 6 comments I've seen my name twice. In that book and LKH's Strange Candy. Haha My name isn't even on those personalized pencils. Lol And I'll definitely let you know how it is if I get to it any time soon. :D SO many books, so little time.
