Sashana I know we usually have book inspired decisions but I wanted to hear some of your thoughts when it comes to New Years Resolution. Research shows that 47% of Americans forget about their resolution after two months. So is making a resolution self deception? or a genuine attempt to change one's life?

1) Do you set New Year's Resolutions?
2)Do you usually complete them? If no, how long does it take until you forget them? If yes, how did it feel to complete your resolution?
3)What is your resolution for 2011?
4)Which picture best represents your thoughts about New Year's Resolutions?

Sashana I think NYRs are legit and I do believe that someone can change their life in a year. BUT I think people tend to go a bit overboard and plan to do way too many things; thus reducing their chances of actually getting anything done because they end up being overwhelmed.

1)Yup
2) Nope, and I forget them after a week or so.
3)Read 150 books! Hopefully I won't forget this after two months.
4)B, and yes I am aware that what I just said is contradicted by this picture :)

Sans 1. Yes
2. No, but I don't really forget them, just keep putting them off.
3. Non-book related resolutions are: lose the extra weight (I'm carrying around way too much), try to not lose my temper at work so much, ignore it when people annoy me and be nice to them anyway.
4. Definitely b!
