How come after I added this new edition there are no other editions in the top right corner

It needs to be manually combined with the other editions. Someone else got it, but next time, check for the "combine" button at the right of the book page.

I just don't understand the combine thing...I saw the button but couldnt figure out how to combine.

You have to click the check boxes of the different editions you want to combine, then the combine button.
