Powers Trap RP

[Evee]

Moss walked down the hall and looked around in a extravagant living, room. She noticed that the trash was empty, but there was a lingering cheese-it smell in the room. Then Moss went to a side door, opening it into a large garage.

[Poet in the Dark]

Questions rolled around in her head but she followed quietly.

[Evee]

Soon she was sitting in the back of a sturdy black SUV with tinted windows. Moss revved the car and smiled, "Dare to watch my house, huh?" Then his foot shot down on the gas pedal and he was out of there. The world around them whizzed and Mira distinctly heard the sound of something hitting the glass. In the darkness she saw nothing to tell her what it had been.

She tensed and her tail twitched nervously.

[Evee]

Moss grinned, "Don't worry, my friend, this car is completely bullet proof." He turned back to the front and then grumbled, "Though I didn't think I'd actually use it after I retired."

At that moment something heavy crashed into the side of the car, causing a crunch. Outside she glimpsed a man, he had rippling muscles and was twice the size of Moss. Moss groaned at the wheel, out of it.

Macho man came at them again, trying to pull the car door off. It stayed, but it wouldn't for long.

Mira took over and punched it, the car shooting forward and away from the man.

[Evee]

The man ran at them, mad desperation in his eyes. As they disappeared around the bend she heard an in human scream.

The wall of a warehouse near them exploded and Macho man came through, looking rabid. He screamed again and came at her, this time managing to grab to rear end of the car. When she revved the wheels spun, burning against the ground. The car didn't move and the man gave out a gasping laugh as he held onto the car.

Mira knew she would have to fight. Her muscles coiled and she grabbed Moss, then leaped out of the car and into the surrounding foliage. She hid Moss, then crouched in the bushes, watching the man. Suddenly she sprung, deadly claws extended and fangs exposed. She tore at the man's stomach, then danced away before he could retaliate.

[Evee]

When she looked back the man had let go of the car. Her nails hadn't penetrated him at all. He showed no sign of pain. His enormous muscles looked like solid iron as he started to move.

There was determination in his eyes as he moved forward towards her. The ground shaking beneath them as he moved.

As another clash between the two was being formed a car screeched to a stop between them. It had tinted glass. The door swung open and a muscly man wearing a suit and hat jumped out, grabbing her and pulling her in. As he did this another man was out and had Moss in the car. This all happened in a matter of seconds. The gas pedal went to the floor and she was flung to the back of her seat. Looking out the window the scenery went by faster than she thought possible.

She shook her head to stop the spinning and her ears laid flat. "Who are you?"

[Evee]

At tall muscular man wearing a dark hat, looked at her and grunted, turning back to the window. The landscape had started to move normally now and she could see that she was underground. The dim glow of a half dead light-blubs flashed by them as they made their way down, deeper.

She pulled back her lips in a frown, but instead focused on trying to wake Moss up.

[Evee]

After a moment Moss awoke. The moment he viewed their surroundings he started babbling waving his hands around crazily.

From the front seat a dark skinned face appeared. It was framed by long black hair and emerald eyes. He smiled, showing white teeth. "I thought your were retired, Moss old boy?!"

Moss growled, "I would be if it weren't for you and your crazy family." He said. Turning to Mira he finally motioned to the man, "This is Malik Dragotti, Knightz' brother."

Malik turned his eyes towards her and in one fluid motion he picked up her hand and kissed it, "Truly charmed." he murmured, gazing into her eyes.

Mira's face flamed, and her ears flattened. She wasn't sure she could trust this person. Her tail swished nervously, but she smiled slightly."I am Mira. Where is Knightz? I haven't seen her since the tunnels."

[Evee]

Malik's eyes turned dangerously pleasant. His eyes swerved to Moss. "And where is my sister, Mossy-boy?"

Moss grunted unintellectual but there was only a slight nervousness in his expression, "That's what I'm trying to find out. Mira here arrive via postal, but Miki made no mention of where she was in the message, but. . ." he glanced around, "If I know Miki she's still in there. Rash minded brat that she is."

He shifted uneasily under Malik's glare, glancing up, "I haven't had a chance to try to track the message. Everything's been a mess since Miki first sent me her email." He made a disgusted sound.

"Why did she do it?" Mira asked. "Why did she send me to you?"

[Evee]

Moss looked at her, "It's obvious. She may look tough but she's a total softy when it comes to kids. She you to us to protect you."

Moss folded his arms and huffed, "I'd figured out where they'd taken you and the others but once Knightz showed up and disappeared they up and vanished. My best bet would be that she went back, after them."

[Poet in the Dark]

Mira's tail twitched and her ears flattened, "Where are we going?"

[Evee]

Moss tilted is head Malik's way. "A compound up north of the city. The safest place until we can track Knightz kidnappers down." He glanced back up at Malik. "Is Lynx up there?" Malik nodded.

[Poet in the Dark]

"Lynx?" Mira asked, her ears pricking up once more.

[Evee]

Moss shook his head and got a cynical look, he pointed it at Malik. "His wife. Though I don't know how in all that's good he convinced her to marry him."

Malik grinned a wide grin and slapped Moss on the back. "Come on Moss. Where would you be without our Matt. You'd not have had half the fun you do." He had a fiendish look on his face.

The car stopped.

Mira shook her head and looked out the window.

[Evee]

There was a fine looking compound in front of her. She was in front of it, behind a fence. But behind the compound she saw miles of land. Open and empty. It was flowing, green, and beautiful.

[Poet in the Dark]

"What is this place?" Mira asked, her tail swishing.

[Evee]

"Malik's compound." Moss grunted as he got out of the car. "You'll stay here for a couple weeks until we find Knightz. It's pretty tame here so it'll be okay. You'll have plenty to do and places to go."

[Poet in the Dark]

"Is there anyone else inside?" Her sharp green eyes took in the compound. She didn't like the fence at all.

[Evee]

Malik was beside her, "Only the staff, Lynx, Moss and myself."

((By the way the fence disappears into the distance because the area it surrounds is so large.))

[Poet in the Dark]

She nodded and her tail twitched nervously."All right, then."

[Evee]

The gate opened, "Then lets enter." He said with a smile.

[Poet in the Dark]

She shrugged and walked towards the gate, questions still whirling in her mind.

[Evee]

The gate opened and as she entered the building she found a spacious entrance. Just inside the entrance was a woman with yellow wavy hair. It was in a ponytail on the side of her head. She leaned off to the side and they saw that her belly was swelled. Once she saw them she grinned and stepped down off the stairs to meet them, "You're all safe." She smiled and headed towards them with open arms. Malik sprang forward eagerly. She walked straight past him and hugged Mira. "It must have been scary in that place. I'm so glad we were able to find you." She let go and smiled at her holding her shoulders. "We'll do our best to make you comfortable." Off to the side Malik stood with a slightly whimpering look on his face. Lynx ignored it.

Mira smiled and her tail swished happily. "Thank you. You must be Lynx."

[Evee]

Lynx was practically bouncing with energy. "That's right. You're Mira right?" She motioned at the big entrance hall, "Well, welcome home!"

At that moment something crashed in the distance. Malik grinned, as did Lynx. Malik dashed off, bringing back a squirming young boy. He had dark hair and skin, just like Malik but his eyes were purely all Lynx, icy blue. His hair had a wavy tint to it like her also and he had it long, in a ponytail. Like his father. Malik put the boy down and the boy scowled, "This is Matt." said Malik putting and hand down on the boy's head. Matt immediately brushed it off. Then he saw Mira's tail. His eyes went wide and silver dollars as he watched it move. Without really noticing it himself he drew closer.

[Poet in the Dark]

Mira smiled, "Hello, Matt. I'm Mira." Her tail wished and her ears pricked forward.

[Evee]

He lunged for the tail. Without so much as a startled gesture Lynx grabbed firmly onto the back of his pants pulling him out of reach of the tail, and any pulling that was dearly wanted.

[Poet in the Dark]

Mira laughed, "Oh, I bet I look strange like this." She held her tail and crouched in front of him."Do you want to touch it? Just be gentle, okay?"

[Evee]

There was a little consideration on the boy's face as he reviewed the offer. No pulling, hmmm. Pretty soon his own eagerness got the best of him, he nodded. Lynx gently let go and he touched her tail. The little boy's eyes went wide in wonder, "Yow'r a Kitty!" He exclaimed.

[Poet in the Dark]

She smiled and one of her ears twitched, "Yeah, I am."

[Evee]

The boy smiled widely and wrapped his small arms around her. "Kitty!" He yelled gleefully.

Lynx grinned. "I'll take you to your room."

[Poet in the Dark]

Mira laughed and stood, "Okay, thank you!"

[Evee]

Lynx smiled and started towards the stairs. Malik went frantic. "Oh no. You take the elevator or I show her her room."

Lynx surveyed him. Then she smiled and laughed, "You know me." She turned towards the elevator. Soon they were on their way up.

[Poet in the Dark]

Mira smiled, "How far along are you?" Her tail swished behind her and her ears were erect.

[Ji Mei]

[Evee]

((Yep. Just in a little bit. I'll look for your last post.))

[Evee]

((Okay. Aven had been approached by the "woman" who seems to be behind their abduction.

Meanwhile Mira and Knightz fight. After a while knightz convinces mira to join her side. They pretend to knock each other out and are both dragged away to the "woman's" disgust.

Once out of sight they knock out the people dragging them. Knightz and Mira head for an exit and Mira mentions the other prisoners. Knightz brushes it off telling her their escaping is the priority now. As they start to move Knightz knocks Mira out out of the blue.

When Mira wakes up she is in a bedroom. She meets a man named Moss and he tells her that she's out of the kidnappers lair. He tells her that Knightz took her here. Moss is strange and doesn't seem surprised by her tail and ears.

He then tells her that he's going to take her to Knightz's brother, who just happens to be the local mafia leader. They enter a car that appears to be armored and start to drive but are immediately attacked by a monstrous person. He continues to attack them and wrecks the car.

Just as he nearly gets Mira another car arrives and rescues them. As it drives away with them it goes Extremely fast. Inside she meets Malik Dragotti, Knightz's brother. They talk and soon arrive at the compound which includes several miles of wildland. They enter a building and meets Malik's wife, Lynx. She is pregnant and their son appears, he is fascinated with Mira and her tail, ect. That's it.))

[Evee]

Lynx smiled, "6 months, give or take a week." She laughed, "It's been fun. I can scare Malik all sorts." Then she sighed with longing, "The only downside is that I'm stuck inside. I hate being inside."

Matt who had been quiet staring at Mira until now pipped in, "But mommy you just went. . ."

Lynx's smile stopped him, "That's a secret Matty. We don't want to scare daddy do we?"

Matt giggled, "You're silly."

She giggled along with him, "I do take my side trips." She said winking at Mira.

[Evee]

Knightz panted and spat on the ground. The liquid, a mix of red and clear vileness splat on the ground loudly. She gripped her arm harder and growled, her eyes searching into the darkness. Why had she been so stupid, because what she'd done at the beginning they were after a poor kid. They were going to try to hurt Aven.

Mira smiled, "Is there anyone else living here?"

[Ji Mei]

((Sorry that post I had earlier didn't make sense, I guess I wasn't reading... I'll post later I promise!))

[Evee]

((Which one?))

She laughed brightly "Only a few bugs here and there. I'd try to introduce you to my good friend Kale but she's currently searching for a missing friend of ours."

Lynx suddenly rammed her elbow into the side of the door, Mira thought she saw something spark, "See what I mean about bugs? They're everywhere. It must be the spring season." She said looking Mira in the eyes. The doors to the elevator opened.
