Matt smiled as he watched her, slipping another spoonful into his mouth.

Asuko turned around and looked at him. "Are you staring at my butt?" she asked after a moment. ((LOL!!!! I'VE ALWAYS WANTED TO HAVE SOMEONE SAY THAT!!! :D))
((LOL *rotfl*))Matt blushed and looked away. "Guuugh...no!"
"Okay!" Asuko smiled and picked up a spoon. "I'll take your word for it. Hah, your face is red! That's so cute!" She giggled, then put a hand over her mouth. "Oh my God, I'm acting like a girl..."
"You are a girl." Matt laughed, trying to get the red off his face by eating another bite.
"Very observant," she said, taking a mouthful. "Buh Ih'm noht here to doo thah, ahm Ih?" She swallowed. "I'm here to... why am I here? So far I've only... hmm... what have I done?"
"well, as of now, you're talking to L...whenever he decides to stop stuffing his face with cake."
"I thought Mello was supposed to talk to L," Asuko muttered. "Well, that's what I intended, anyway. What are you doing here? Moral support for Mello?"
"I always go with him." He shrugged.
"Hmm." She took a giant spoonful of ice cream and stuck it in her mouth. "AH! Brain freeze!!"
Matt shook his head and wolfed down another bite. "Man...this is good ice cream. Best ever."
"I wonder if there's more..." she muttered, sifting through the fridge. "No, but I think it's unhealthy to have so much sugar... look at these chocolate bunnies... Mmm, strawberry cake!"
"We should save Mello a bunny. Lemme try some of that cake!"
She laughed and handed him the cake. "You give me the ice cream, then."
"Fine." He grabbed the cake and gave her the ice cream.
She took a bite of the ice cream and smiled, then reached over him and got a spoonful of the cake too.
"Heeeey." He laughed, stealing some ice cream.
"Hey, hands off!" she said, holding the ice cream away from him and snagging more of his cake. "Ha, I wihn! Ihn youh fahce!" she said through a big mouthful.
Matt raised an eyebrow and scarfted down more cake. "Not uf I eet it all furst!"
"Nuh uh!" She reached over him to get to the cake, grabbing his hand to get the spoon in.
Matt pushed his hand away, aiming to scoop up more ice cream.
"I think I have icing on my nose," she said, trying to lick the sugar from her lips and hold the ice cream away from him at the same time.
"Maybe." He grabbed the ice cream tub firmly.
"No!" She turned away from him in an attempt to keep the ice cream away from him.
Matt took another heaping spoonful of cake and stuffed it is his mouth
She did the same with the ice cream. "Mmm, don't you love ICE CREAM! It's so much better than CAKE!" She reached over and grabbed a big spoonful of cake. "Ha, I got some!"
"Well cake works just as well!" He smirked. He grabbed the ice cream again and tugged it.
Asuko pulled the ice cream back, trying to get the icing off of her nose at the same time. "Damn it, did I just smear icing all over my face?"
((just so you know my internet is acting up))"Yes." He laughed.
((it's okay, I'm having to juggle a whole lot of rps so it's fine))"Darn it!" She couldn't wipe her face because she was trying to reach for the cake and guard the ice cream at the same time.
((mkay ^^))"Should I get more frosting on you?" He teased, trying to pry the ice cream from her.
"You'd better not, or I'm gonna dump ice cream over your head!"
"Just gimme the dang ice cream already." He teased again, pulling harder.
"Here, we can share. I'll set down the ice cream, you set down the cake. Deal?"
"Deal." He let go of the ice cream just a bit.
Asuko eased her hand off of the cake, waiting for him to set his down first.
Matt put his cake down and let go of it, fingers still firm on the ice cream.
Asuko put the ice cream down, then took a big bite of cake. "Mmm, see? Cooperation can be managed." She laughed and grabbed both the cake and ice cream. "Or I can have both!"
"No fair! We had a deal!" He snatched the ice cream back and paused.
"What?" She took another bite of cake.
Matt took his hand off and walked back to the fridge. He took out a chocolate bunny and bit the ear off. "I got chocolate..."
"No!!" Asuko put the ice cream down. "Okay, you win. You got the chocolate bunny. Now help me find a mirror, I need to get this icing off of my face...."
Matt nodded. He put his hand on her shoulder and led her into a nearby bathroom.
"My goodness, I look like a marshmallow," she observed, staring to wash her face. "And now it's all sticky! Darn it! How come you're all icing-free?"
"I was getting the ice cream." He laughed. "My hands are like that."
"Lucky," she muttered. "It's a good thing I don't wear make-up, I'd have to redo it now." She wiped her face off. "Is it all gone?"
"Yep." He nodded.
"Good. Now come on, we'd better go do something productive. Besides, I'm a little afraid that Mello might embarrass himself in front of L by doing something horribly rash..."
"So let's go walk in?" Matt guesses, waving his bunny around.
Asuko grabbed his bunny and took a bite out of it. "Yeah, I guess so. But if I go in there and they're making out or something I'm going to suffer from serious trauma."
