"Are you sure?" beyond raised an eyebrow. "Mr. Mafia leader? You can't tell me you got there with out killing? doing what ever you could to get what you wanted.

Beyond rubbed his eyes, sinking to the L postion he adapted as well. "Jam would be nice," he mumbled to himself.

"Jam?" Mello mumbled as he rose from his seat, "I doubt if Matt has any. I don't think he ever eats."

Beyond laughed to himself. "It's the only thing I eat most of the time."

Mello dug around in the kitchen for a few minutes, the noise from Matt's video game in the background, until he finally located his chocolate stash and removed a few candy bars. He even managed to find a jar of strawberry jam, much to his surprise.
"Here," he tossed the jam and a spoon at Beyond before he opened one of his chocolate bars.

Beyond caught it, and twisted open the lid. Ignoring the spoon, he dipped his figures into the red stuff, pulling them out and licking the substance off.
Near walked up to L,"have you found anything about Kira yet?" Near questioned.
"hmm....Interesting...Have you sent any people out to investigate that adress?" Near asked.
((i just saw the episode where raye penbar died and his wife commited suicide and that was so sad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! his wife got such a pale look in her face when light told her he was kira={ raye penbar had that coming though....))

"Ew." Matt looked at his screen again, already disgusted by the conversation.

"Ugh..." Mello stuck out his tongue and shivered, "You are such a creep."

Beyond shrugged. "I've been called worse," he retorted, dipping his hand in the Jam again.

Mello shook his head and turned to Matt. "Those video games again? Don't you do anything else?"
((He's really thinking, "I thought I lit fire to all of his portable game systems..."
((*laughs*))"Well yeah." Matt simpered. "You've seen me do other things."

beyond dropped the empty Jar to his side, licking his figures clean of the sticky substance.
