Makami was unphased. He hauled Asuko up by the collor of her shirt and threw her over his shoulder.

"No! Mello, run, you dumbass!" She could hardly breathe now, and she could feel her face beginning to turn purple or blue or some unnatural color.

"Thanks. That was really helpful. Now I can yell at them for how stupid they're being," Asuko said sarcastically, glaring at the red-eyed freak. "DON'T YOU DARE GIVE IT TO HIM!" she screamed. "Shoot, shoot! Or RUN!! Don't stand there!"
