"17," she said, wishing she were older. No one took you seriously when you were young; they even doubted that she had graduated from college. It made her very annoyed.
"Aaah." He nodded and looked up at the cashier. "Is he done yet?"

"No... I don't think he speaks that guy's language..." she motioned with one hand to the Indian man arguing with the cashier.
Matt sighed. "This will take forever..."

Asuko just picked up the box of lollipops and walked out of the store, glad that no alarms went off. She grinned and pulled out another one.

Shoplifting...eh whatever. Matt followed knowing that if Mello found out that he'd be mad.Whatever he usually let him go anyway.

Matsuda inwardly groaned as he peeked ahead at the argument. "Why me?"
Asuko turned around and grinned at Matt. "Shoplifting. Not one of my usual hobbies. Especially not lollipops." She paused. "Do you smoke?"
"Yes." He didn't seem to care as he took out a cigar and lit it.

She grimaced. "That's going to kill you," Asuko told him. "If you're going to smoke, don't expose me to it and make me die sooner too."((lol sounds kinda like Mello))
((It does!))He shrugged. "There's enough room in the world..."
"Yes, I suppose, but I have much more important things to do in my life than die." Then it hit her. "What do you know about Kira?" she asked, twirling her lollipop between her fingers before popping it back into her mouth.

((And as usual Matt is just like 'blahblahblahblahblah...'))Matt froze and pulled the cigar out of his mouth. "Almost nothing."

"What a shame." She paused again. "I've been following his case for a while... actually, I came to Japan because of him."
"Really?" He brightened up. "What do you know? I mean I know who he is but..."
"Oh, I can't explain everything," she said vaguely, "but it was important enough for me to come from England. Lovely place... not nearly as exciting as Kira, though."
"What?" He stared at her blankly.

Asuko stared back. "I know that you know more than you say you know." That was messed up. "I mean, everyone knows what Kira is up to. And the fact that you lied means that you know more than most."
Matt sighed. "Fine I lied but I do need to know."
He leaned over closer and said in a harsh whisper. "I'm working on the Kira case with Mello."
Asuko laughed, clapping. "And the truth comes out! How lovely. Do you know who L is?"
"Yes." he nodded.
"And Mello is another Wammy boy?" she guessed, then looked around, lowering her voice before muttering, "Is there somewhere else to discuss this?"

"Probably. I got to get back wanna hop in my car?" He gestured towards a red ((whatever the car is lol)) in the parking lot.
Asuko blinked. "Sure," she said quietly, trying not to laugh.
((Aww, crud... DON'T KILL HER!! (Where'd Mello get the Death Note from? Can it be Makami's, so he can't kill them?) ))
Matt nodded and strode towards his car hopping in the front seat and turning on the engine.
