Mello was rifleing through the apartment refrigerator yet again. He had tied the knocked-out Raito to a chair, but had lost Beyond- which wasn't really surprising. Mello hadn't expected himt o stick around for long.

Beyond sat in the dark corner of the appartment, glaring out at the scene in front of him.

Mello glanced around, trying to shake the uneasy feeling that had come almost as soon as he'd gotten back to the apartment. Almost as if someone was watching him....

Beyond smirked. He ran to another shadow, making as much noise as he could with out being seen.

Mello began to creep around the apartment, inspecting it.

Raito stirred, and blinked open his eyes, "Wha . . . ? Mihael?! Where the heck am I?!" he snarled when he realized where he was.

"DON'T call me Mihael..." Mello hissed, ignoring his hunch for a while. "And you don't really need to know your location at the moment...."

He circled Raito, smirking.

"What do you want with me, Mihael?! Did you kidnap me just to mess with my head?" Raito spat, his eyes gaining a wild, wicked gleam, the kind that was ready to do anything.

"Mmm...that's not the sole reason. But I admit, it will be quite entertaining," he grinned, leaning down to put his face right beside Raito's. "What's the matter? You miss your little murderous boyfriend?"

"Shut up! Mihael! You have no right to talk to me! I am KAMI!" Raito snarled, thrashing against the ropes that bound him to the chair.

Raito went limp, his head hanging. A quiet, insanely creepy laugh started to echo around the room.

But the insanity laugh continued. Raito was now laughing loudly, his voice ringing throughout the apartment complex. Then, as suddenly as it came, it stopped, and Raito slumped over, again unconscious.
