Beyond stared back a the shinigami. this thing looks harmless, and lazy, let's not forget lazy beyond glanced quickly at Matt. "like someone else we know," he mumbled.

Beyond smirked, and turned back around to face Shido, who had shuffled forward, and was now right in front of Beyond. "Hello," Shido said...Beyond jumped back about 5 feet.

Mello couldn't hold back a snicker as he watched Beyond react to the sudden closeness of the shinigami.

"I'm NOT talking to it," Beyond hissed. Shido shuffled forward more. "Why won't you talk to me?" he asked. "GAH! Get.it.away!" Beyond hid behind Matt.

Mello grinned and broke into an all out laugh. "Poor Beyond and Matty! Too scared to act like real men! I suppose this means I will be talking to it then!"

Shido turned to Mello, shuffling toward him.

Mello looked over at Ross, who was pouting at being hit in the head with the notebook, which was now sitting on the floor.

"Your Death Note?" Mello repeated, "You mean that notebook?"

((It's the most annoying yet awesome thing EVER! he like stalks Ryuk going "I want my death note I want my death note" and Ryuk is like "I DON'T HAVE IT!"))

"Yes! It's MY death note and I want it back!" Shido replied. Beyond growled at Shido, and walked over to the Death Note, picking it up.

"And what if we don't give it to you?" Mello asked, more out of curiosity than to be difficult.

Shido spun around. "I'll run out of life, I'll die! I want My DEATH NOTE!" he said, sounding more like a pre-schooler. Beyond walked to Mello's side, still holding the death note.

"Why should that matter to us? Why should we give it to you for the sake of your life?" what he really wanted to ask was 'Why would you die without the notebook,' but that didn't seem like the right question to ask.

Beyond glanced at Mello, then back at the spinning Shinigami. "Hey," he said, holding up the Notebook. Shido stopped. "His life doesn't matter to us, and he knows it, that's why he's freaking out," Beyond mumbled to Mello. then he turned back to Shido. "You'll get this, when we say got it." he spat. "I just have a few questions for you. but when I'm done that doesn't mean you'll get this."

Mello nodded and stepped back, standing beside Matt (who he glared at), to let Beyond continue

Beyond took a big breath, before speaking. "first off, I want to know where Ryuk and Rem are," he said.he could tell Mello would be extremely confused by the questions, but he really didn't care. "And secondly who is this 'Kira' person?"

Shido spun once. "Ryuk is with Kira, as is Rem, and Kira is Light Yagami, can I have my death note now?" Shido asked.

"This will be easier than I thought if it's all true," beyond mumbled.
