I think my next 5 reads will be: Jane Eyre, The Grapes of Wrath, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, the Bone Bed, and The Book of Stillmeadow. At least that's my thinking right now.

I tried to read it when I was in 6th grade, but couldn't get interested. It was just too different from anything I was used to. Now maybe it will be easier.

I hear that you just need to get passed the beginning where it's really boring, then it starts to get good. I'm hoping to give it another go before the year ends.

I usually get 5 books from the library at a time, so I'm almost always in the middle of a 5 book reading list. I just got a new library book haul which includes: Pygmalion by Bernard Shaw. Boy by Roald Dahl. The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes by Arthur Conan Doyle. Ina May's Guide to Childbirth by Ina May Gaskin and Paranormal: My Pursuit of the Afterlife by Raymond Moody, MD.

I loved Frankenstein. Have you ever read Dracula? I finally read it in my first year of university and I was so jumpy/scared while reading it! Absolutely enjoyed it, even though I am a wimp.
