Lobstergirl I suggested this a while back and Otis liked the idea. But I also noted that it would need to be done carefully (not every librarian should be given the ability) because there are some lists that seem extremely similar but are slightly different that shouldn't be combined.

Maybe there should be a pop-up box when you are creating a list asking if you've checked to see if such a list already exists, and giving possible list titles, such as is the case when adding a NE Quiz question.

I have seen several identical "Best Books" lists, and cover art related lists.
