Harry Potter haters? I joined then unjoined. I don't like the atmosphere there, especially the mod or whoever was saying Harry Potter was a stupid story (in general). Then again, that's hypocritical.
I'm still a member, but seeing as all of the so called haters have said they dont think its THAT bad, I think I shall say adieu and leave, so it looks like they have less members
:D I joined...and then unjoined cuz it was blocking up my updates, and I wanted updates from more important groups.
Haven't I already made it clear that it is 'Hear, hear'? It was derived from 'Hear him!' or something. Google it.
But somebody else gave a reasonable explanation as to how it could be here, here, at some stage.
But the thing is, someone might have a reasonable explanation as to why it could be 'here, here', but the actual saying, originated from history, is 'hear, hear'.
It was originated from the 18th century British Parliament as a contraction of "Hear him, hear him."That might explain why there's a bit of confusion over it. I mean, who really cares about 18th century British Parliament?

^ that's probably the explanation I was speaking of.

Well, in America it's pronounced like 'zeeeeeee', isn't it? In Australia, people (who haven't been affected by Seasame Street) say 'zed'.
