Anyone reading N.K. Jemisin's "The Broken Kingdoms"?

I recently read The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms and really loved it. It's a great stand-alone fantasy. The Broken Kingdoms isn't a traditional sequel in that it doesn't pick up where the first left off. Rather it explores another aspect of the world at a later time. It's pretty high on my "I want to read it" list.

I want to read The Broken Kingdoms, since I loved the first book, but I won't get to it until the publisher lifts the restrictions against international Kindles. Right now they won't let me buy it because I'm in Canada.
