I'm gonna say yes to this one as the reincarnation theme is similar to Orlando which I already said yes to.

Thanks!!
No problem! I'm re-reading my HP collection for the winter challenge and it looks like a lot of others are as well. Enjoy!
Would Bearing an Hourglass work? The reason I ask is because before he takes up the hourglass he is a normal human after it, he is "chonos" an incarnation that is able to control time
The goodreads reviews of this book are very confusing and contradictory. It sounds like he is just living his life backwards which would not count as him transforming into another being...When he travels backwards through his life, is he the same person all the time or does he become different people?(like being reincarnated) The reviews make it hard to tell! Any imput from someone who had read the book would be welcome before I make a decision!
My fiance has read the books and told me that at one point he is a regular human and the next he is an incarnation that is able to control time. And as an incarnation of time he lives backwards so he will know the future.
I read all the Incarnation of Immortality series many years ago, including Bearing an Hourglass. I would describe these as the normal human becomes a "superbeing" but with very specific abilities, in this case controlling time. If you have read any Terry Pratchett books, the abilities of Death in those books is similar to the abilities of Death in the Incarnations series, for example. In On a Pale Horse, which is the death book in this series, the protagonist (I think this is the way the story goes, its been a long time) accidentally kills a man or is present when the man accidentally dies, and the person killed is death so the protagonist takes on the burdens, persona and powers of Death - goes around harvesting souls, has angsty bouts of conscience when children die or people die violently, finds he has other super powers related to death that help him resist evil and get the girl (important in all Anthony books LOL). I think these fit your transformation theme, but it is your call, of course
Thanks Sarah and Cindy AL! This was really helpful and I'm going to approve the book. You can mention when you post your completed task that the book was approved by me.Enjoy the book!
I am reading The Orphan which is about a beast which transforms into humans rather than a human who transforms into something else. Would this count?(He is not really a werewolf like it says in the synopsis which is taken from the back cover.)

Yes you can use this one!
Hey! I was wondering if Assassin's Apprentice is okay?Fitz discovers he has a skill called "Wit", which allows him to have some amount of communication with animals, and ancient and fairly frowned upon magical ability. He is also taught to develop the Skill in which he is able to use his mind in combat, to communicate with other people etc. etc.
If you need me to describe Wit a little better, just ask (I realise I'm being quite vague here, I'm just not sure how much detail you might need to decide)!
I imagine Beast Behaving Badly (heroine is a shapeshifting wolfdog, and hero is a shapeshifting polar bear/lion hybrid..) would work? just checking:-)

From the description and reviews it doesn't sound like he actually transforms in any way so I'm going to have to say no on this one. Sorry!
