Stephenie Meyer Interview at ComicCon

The more I see interviews with the woman, the more I really do "get" more of what goes on in her head, which I like. She mentioned the fact that she's been to the set of the movie, and that she saw Robert "shift" into what she called "Edward mode", and that he began to look as she saw him in her head! How cool is that? Gives me a lot more hope for the film.

Very good interview. I agree with her, though about the writing all the books from Edwards perspective. I don't want to know all the heart wrenching detail about his perspective of New Moon! Or Eclipse for that matter. I think it will be nice, like she said, to get to know him better through Twilight and leave it at that. Also, now I can't wait to see the movie!

I think that it's funny when Jacob tells Bella that he loves her and kisses her and then she breaks her hand by punching him and he barely felt it... I think that TWILIGHT and ECLIPSE are the best ones of the series, i can't choose between those two... I think that the only reason that I didn't like NEW MOON is because i really dont like Jacob very much

Totally! I would LOVE to read new moon from Edward's pov! I want to know where he was and what he was going through while Bella was pretty much comatose. I guess I want to feel his heartache as much as Bella's.

I have mixed feeling about reading New Moon from Edward's perspective. I would love to hear what he's thinking about it all, but then again, it would be depressing and sad. To me, New Moon was just a little bit boring with Bella without Edward. I think New Moon with Edward without Bella would be worse.

Yeah I don't know if doing the whole series over again from Edwards perspective would be that great but I would LOVE for her to do New Moon from his perspective because he was gone for most of it and we had no idea what he was thinking or doing. I think it would be interesting to see how he felt, what he thought of, what he did to keep himself away, how his family was during that time, how he felt when he thought Bella was dead and the plan that formed to go to Italy. I think it would be awesome. I would not like her to do the parts where they are together because it's mostly a repeat and I'm sure from Midnight Sun we will be able to tell what kind of personality he has and what he is thinking during conversations with Bella. Also, she does a great description of Edwards facial features and moods so we know what he's thinking because he is usually honest about his thoughts.
