Wicked House of Rohan was an ebook freebie if I'm not mistaken, so you probably have it in your Kindle.
I didn't get Wicked House of Rohan when it was free and now it's not- oh well- I will read Sun, Sand, Sex-looks right up my alley!
Put me down for Birthright by Nora RobertsI wonder if a person could possibly read all of her books.

I'll give Birthright by Nora Roberts ago, I haven't read one of her books yet, i think it's time i should start.

Thanks Yz, I am having trouble opening the Sony Reader on my computer so I can't download the book but thanks so much for checking it out for me. If I can't get it to work I will read Sun, Sand, Sex instead- no hardship!
Well....I finished The Wicked House of Rohan. It was approximately 26 pages. :-)I am also going to read Four to Score since we can stay within series.
Finished reading The Wicked House of Rohan last night. Due to its length, it feels more like a teaser. Still its an intriguing introduction to another Anne Stuart series. I give it 3 stars.
I enjoyed Full Moon Rising - Poor Riley! I'm not sure if she just has bad taste in men or just really bad luck! I found it a really good first book - I certainly want to read more in the series - 4 stars.
Barbara wrote: "I'm in. I'll read Dark Slayer as this has been on my shelf forever and I just can't get to it."Personally, I think Dark Slayer is the best Carpathian book so far. I just adore Ivory and Razvan. I think you will enjoy it.
I finished Sun, Sand, Sex - big snow day here yesterday (1 foot)- this was a re-read for me and I liked it as much the second time. It contains one of my favorite short stories- One Last Weekend by Linda Lael Miller. A couple in their early 40's on the brink of divorce get away for one last weekend before the proceedings start. That story just makes me cry. The other 2 stories are cute and fun, nothing spectacular.
I finished Birthright by Nora Roberts.Nora Roberts must be growing on me because I really liked this stand alone novel. Finished 1/15
I read The Wicked House of Rohan - 3 stars. I have not read anything by Anne Stuart previously, so I think they succeeded in getting me interested in this trilogy by offering this prequel for free :)
I've been wanting to try out Christina Dodd's Darkness Chosen series, so Scent of Darkness is next up on my tbr.
I'll read either Birthright or One for the Money since I own them both. I read To the Nines a while ago and have always been meaning to start the series from the beginning.
Finished Scent of Darkness
yesterday, 1-19-11.Rating: 3.5 stars
Review: Surprisingly enjoyable. Other reviews made me think I might be disappointed, but I ended up zipping right through this. Lots of threads left hanging in the overall story arc, but that's to be expected in a quartet. I will definitely be reading the next in this set.
I finished Full Moon Rising today. Riley did have the worst luck with men. This has been on my TBR pile forever and I'm glad I got the "push" to read it from this challenge because I really enjoyed it. I'll definitely be reading more in the series.
I finished Magic Study on 1/18/11 before I saw this thread. Hope it counts. I gave it a 4 stars. Quick Review: It was fast pace and quick read. I love Poison Study and don't think Magic Study was as good. I felt like I was reading different series all together but I really enjoyed it.
If you like the Hunger Games series, you'll probably like the Study series.
I finished The Wicked House of Rohan today. It feels like cheating somehow because of the brevity. Brevity wins it 2 stars but I will read the first book in the series.
I just finished One for the Money and I liked it a lot (1/30****). The only other book I've read by Evanovich is To the Nines and although it was good, I can already tell this series is much better read from the beginning and in order. I found I could dive right in to the 9th book, but I lost to much of the characters identities that way. It was a lot of fun seeing how they all met.
I can't believe I didn't sign up for this. I read Dark Slayer by Christine Feehan and just finished it now. What a great but very dark and brutal story of the Carpathians.

Dark Slayer, as of now, is my favorite Carpathian book and Razvan and Ivory my favorite couple. The book is just a total winner in my opinion.

: )
I'll be reading the first book of that trilogy, since I recently got the whole set from the library sale bin.
Funny, Yz...I received both books (#2 and #3 in the series) from PBS just a few minutes before I checked this thread. Talk about timing!
Has anyone read Need? the reviews seem mixed and I can't tell if I will like it or not. My library has that one and The Long Winter so it's between those two.
Fran wrote: "Has anyone read Need? the reviews seem mixed and I can't tell if I will like it or not. There are better books out there that's for sure. :)
The writing seemed childish and the heroine was really annoying, but it might appeal to some Twilight fans, it had that feel to it, though I thought Twilight was much better.
Thanks Miss- I got the feeling from many reviews that the heroine and the writing style might be a problem- thanks for your input :)
Heart of Darkness is a free download on Amazon and I've never read it so think I will give that a try.
Fran wrote: "Heart of Darkness is a free download on Amazon and I've never read it so think I will give that a try."Geez, I am trying to get through this- it's really just so hard to keep going...yuck. I will do my best to be rid of this tonight.
I just finished Heart of Darkness - I chose it because it was free, a "classic", and on the shorter side. It ended up costing me too much of my time, painful, and huge drag. Wow, this was bad. I guess I need someone to explain the significance of this book to me because I just didn't get it.
