Random Book List #340 (ends June 18)

That's really interesting thanks, Targeted was the one I wasn't that impressed with. I will definitely try the next one.
That's good news for me too. I've tried to read
a couple of times and have put it back down. Now I'll know that it leads to something better.
Random Book List #290I read WeSa and the Lumber King by Faith Hunter which is a short story that takes place before the first Jane Yellowrock book. I gave 3 stars, it was interesting but not life changing.
Hi I haven't finished the book from this list yet. Can I add my review after I have or is it better to do it now?
Camille wrote: "Hi I haven't finished the book from this list yet. Can I add my review after I have or is it better to do it now?"Either way will be fine.
But the book can only only qualify for the challenge when you finished it.
I read Darkness Awakened #1 in the series. I enjoyed the plot, but found the writing style annoying. It seemed as though KR needed to bulk out the word numbers. She would often write the first half of the sentence and then say it again slightly different in the second half of the sentence.
"Even though she was mostly covered with clothing, the radiance was visible even under the dark material of her pants and top."
" “The parameters of this mission don’t leave this group for the time being.” Which meant even the mated ones wouldn’t tell their significant others. Something he didn’t have to specify to these hardened men. "
Tightening up the editing would really improve this book. ** (June 14)

It gets better. I promise.
I read book 1 last and thought the same thing so I had no intentions of continuing. A few months ago Sunny picked book 2 Taste of Darkness on that Pick It For Me monthly challenge and I ended up listening books 2-4. Now I just listened to Into the Darkness and I'm still enjoying the series.
Read City of Heavenly Fire for this list last May 28. It was an interesting read and I'm glad I'm finally finished with this series. 4 stars

I think I'm going to read
. I read the first book, can't get a copy of the 2nd book, so I'm going to just jump to the 3rd book.
Random Book List #295I finished reading Hard To Get by Anna Banks and it was a cute little side story. I gave it 4 stars and after this one I've finished reading the series. It's not the best YA series I've read but it's something would've enjoyed reading when I was in middle school or high school.
I finished reading
. I rated it 3 stars, although I would have rated it 3.5 if I could. I think I will read the next book in the series and then decide if I want to continue. :)
I finished
last July 2. Though I'm a fan of Cynthia Eden's books, I thought this one was just okay. 3 stars

Finished
9/5/2016 4 starsI really enjoyed this one more than the 1st book. It was a good span of time between the books but they filled me on the prior happenings pretty quickly. This one was more action packed than the first.
I finished
9/11. This was an interesting graphic novel- a short story by Neil Gaiman adapted by him into a graphic novel and illustrated by two brothers. The coloring was beautiful, but they guys looked way older than 15- more like 30. The story started out in one direction but then took some odd turns. It's going to be a movie in 2017, I'm interested to see how this story will translate to the screen. 3.5*
I've read
I gave it 4 stars.
I loved it so much, I loved the comedy and the main charters (the husband and wife), I love the chemistry between them, and using a diary format was an interesting way to tell the story and I felt more connected with them as well as I like being able to go into the characters head to see how they see the world around them.
Read
on 11th Sept. 4 stars.Onyx is a typical book by Jennifer L. Armentrout - a perfect mix of banter, sizzling chemistry and light mystery. :)

I finished
last Dec. 6. It started it slow but got better in the end. Despite the rather religious slant, which doesn't appeal to me at all, it was a decent book. 4 stars.
