I finished reading Beautiful Bastard by Christina Lauren and gave it 4 stars. This book was good, but it reminded me a lot of Tangled by Emma Chase. The turn-around of the main male character was not entirely believeable to me but I still enjoyed it!

I read last Dec 7. I thought it was quite full of action and lots of mystery. Unfortunately, my romantic heart is a bit disappointed with the lack of clear romance in this book. 4 stars

The start was tough with a lot of characters but it seems like it will develop to be a cool uf series. I am willing to read more and find out. :)

I finished today (audiobook) ★★★½. Be aware it ends in a cliffhanger, so I have to get audio 2 shortly. It's pretty good, not great but the characters are complex.

Random Book List #270

I finished reading Dead Ever After by Charlaine Harris and I thought it was pretty good. I gave it 5 stars but I'm kind of glad this series is over, it was getting a little out of hand and I blame the TV show for part of this.

Ended up reading for this list. As always, the Andrews deliver. I really enjoyed seeing George and Jack all grown up. 5 stars.

I read Ms. Manwhore and thought it was so cute! I loved how awesome the wedding was. It was a really great ending to that story arc. *4 STARS*

I also read Sweep in Peace and it was fantastic! I just love Ilona Andrews. Adding in Jack and Sophie and George was surreal!

I read Blood Lines
Becoming a fantasy saga with the story line becoming more complicated. Focusing more on demons than werewolves . Romantic elements were an aside to the main story and unresolved.
I am not sure about continuing this series. This book really dragged for me hence the late posting. ***

For my first challenge

I'm going to read The Rest of Us Just Live Here by Patrick Ness

This book was brilliant. I didn't know what to expect so I was pleasantly surprised. A story within a story about blue lights, strange goings on, a cat god and a group of friends who learnt through their own strengths and weaknesses that teenage love and friendship can be fragile but beautiful too. I'm giving this book 4/5 stars.

Katie Reus' romantic suspense have been on my TBR for awhile, I didn't realise she wrote Paranormal as well... so even though I shouldn't be starting another new series... I will read #1 Darkness Awakened in place of #2

Oh good I put down to read book #1 but was having doubts as I have just struggled through one of KR's romantic suspense and it was really predictable and totally failed to engage me.
