I'm adding another bookI'm adding it to my original post, if you want to change your pick you can :)
Alright, I'm picking early!! I hope you guys don't mind! I'm having my SIL pick a number so I'll be right back and let you know who won!
She chose 12! So Photojim, you're the winner of The Goblin King!!
PM me you're address and I'll get that out to you ASAP! :D
This is my second win! I'll have books up I'll add it the moment I get it in my hands.I'll have picks up shortly for everyone.
I think I've got a selection here with a little something for everyone. At first I was going to change things up a bit and not go by the rules. I was going to just list genres and whomever won, I would go to your book lists, pick a book in the genre of your choice that you haven't read that I think you would like, and send you that. It would be like a Pick It For Me/Pay It Forward amalgamation. But I didn't know how that would go over. Maybe with some positive feedback I'll do that with my next win. In the mean time...Drawing will be Monday the 17th. I don't have an hour yet as I don't know what I'm doing that day. The condition of all of my books is USED. Some of them are very used.
Historical Romance -
1 The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie - It has interesting characters.
2 Never Seduce a Scoundrel - See, I've read more than one historical romance.
Contemporary Romance -
3 Not That Kind of Girl (Dog Walkers #3) - If I can find the first two, I'll throw them in as well. But I think they may have already been donated to the library.
4 Sugar Creek and Whisper Falls - sorry, book one was a library book. Good reads though. If you win, you won't mind tracking down the first.
5. Mouth to Mouth - If you like Erin Mccarthy, you'll like this.
6. Get A Clue - Not Jull Shalvis's best, but still fun.
7. See Jane Score - Heard about the infamous tattoo? Find out what the talk is about.
General Fiction
8. Flowers for Algernon - Everybody should have read this in school years ago. If you haven't, then shame on your school. Great book.
9. Between Lovers - I can't really call it romance. But a great story.
Speculative Fiction (the category formerly known as Sci-Fi/Fantasy
10. Dune - Herbert's classic has aged remarkably well.
11. The Hobbit - If you've never gotten around to reading this classic, now's your chance.
Harlequin Bundles
12. I seem to get quite a few of these when I buy boxes of books at garage sales and such. So I give you a choice - 10 Harlequin Presents/Silhouette/whatever books or 5 Blaze books. Just so you know, I actually like 90% of the Blaze books. They are like a palette cleanser.
Erotica Anthologies (my bet is most picks will come from here)
13 Naughty Bits 2: An Anthology of Short Erotic Fiction - I even have it autographed by one of the authors.
14. Tales from the Temple III - don't worry, you don't actually have to have read Tales from the Temple I or II to know what's going on.
Well, give some feedback on my idea for the next time I win, give a try for one of the books, or increase your odds of winning by creating multiple dummy accounts and entering more than once (that last suggestion is probably frowned upon by the powers that be).
Jim, you crack me up!I like your idea of choosing a book for the winner. That would certainly shake things up a bit.
Please enter me for Flowers for Algernon (shame on my schools!)
Thank you!
