Penney, out of the five of us who read it for a book club discussion, the average score was something like 2.8 and that includes someone who apparently was off her meds and gave it a four star rating (KK). I'm just saying that there are much better choices in the list.
Good choice Jane. Do Australians play hockey? In any event you get to read about an interesting tattoo if you win.
We play hockey (not ice-hockey) at school and in clubs but it only gets huge national focus during the Olympics with the Hockeyroos (mens' national team) and the Hmmm - tattoo huh? *where could THAT be?* ...Nothing like a bit of juicy info to keep me interested!!... LOL!

Kim, I'm sorry if I was mean when I said you were off your meds. Everyone knows that you do not take any form of medication and any form of insanity is strictly natural. Besides, everyone knows that you are a sweetie anyway. However, you didn't have to come out and say it was you that enjoyed the book. Aren't there certain things that you shouldn't admit to doing in a public forum? In my opinion liking this book is one of them. The hero is so over the top, 'I'm the man and thus I'm always right and so much better than you at everything' that I wanted to kill him and I'm a man. Of course as Penney pointed out, if I didn't like the book I should be talking it up so that more people would want it thus increasing my chances of getting rid of it. Maybe she has a point there... OK, I agree with you, When You Dare is wonderful!

Congrats Joyce! Seriously, you should read When You Dare. Jim is off his rocker and obviously jealous of the alpha male. However, he is allowed to not like a book that I happened to like and I am allowed to like a book that he basically threw against the wall. This is an ongoing behind the scenes squabble between the two of us. I'm currently contemplating planting my butt in the middle of his living room and reading book #3 of the series while he fans me and brings me Margaritas. Perhaps I could get a pedicure out of him as well. Heh heh.
Don't listen to her Joyce. She's just trying to convince the rest of the world that she's not crazy. Those voices that were telling her how good the book was were just not loud enough for the rest of the world to hear. While Kim is welcome to come and read anything she wants (and I do make a mean margarita) my wife will tell her that I apparently don't apply nail polish in an even and smooth manner and thus banned from painting toenails.
