Pure Silk by Susan Johnson. Was in a stack of clearance erotica at Half-Price Books. It's 19th century Japan so maybe I won't mind so much. After all I liked Shogun decades ago.

I'll admit am not a big fan of historicals either. Though i have a few that i plan to read in the future. Have too many friends recommendations not to add it.
The only author that i can recall reading historical was Sherry Thomas and i really enjoyed it. Maybe i'm a bit clueless but i barely noticed they were historicals, except when discribing what people drove and how far the houses were from one another. Hmmm, i may have to pick up the last few books from that series, i think i saw two releases that i have not read so far.
