Meg Clayton (megwaiteclayton) | 129 comments What book are you hoping to unwrap this holiday season?

For me:

Andre Kertesz by Michel Frizot

message 2: by SarahSaysRead (new)

SarahSaysRead I'm actually hoping for a bookstore gift card. Sadly, people never buy me books. Probably because I have so many they never know what book I want next, lol.

Jayme(theghostreader) (jaymetheghostreader) That's why gift cards are great. You can get what you want. :)

Thinking maybe I ll get a Kindle this year, not totally sold on the idea but maybe...

Cammie | 785 comments A gift card or Nook. I'll have a Nook for Christmas or my next bonus.

Elizabeth (Alaska) I'm not asking for anything, just glad the grandchildren are here from Kodiak - permanently.

I don't have any specific book I am hoping for this Christmas (I have so many to read on my shelf already), but I always love gift cards so when that new release that I just "have to have" comes out, I can get it (plus anything else to use up the gift card, LOL). :o)

I am kind-of hoping to get an e-reader this year. I refuse to "ask" for one though, but since they are becoming more well known, I think my DH may be aware that they actually exist now, so he "might" actually consider getting me one for a present. But I won't hold my breath. :o)

Jane (shoxford) | 39 comments I have it on good authority from my Mother that I should be receiving for Xmas....

Happy Ever After

Cyn | 263 comments I have 2 kids in college...my list seems so re arranged as far as priorities go....having them all home and hanging out together doing whatever really IS a rare and special thing.

Jayme(theghostreader) (jaymetheghostreader) I would really like my dad to have a job. He has been unemployed for almost a year.

message 11: by KrisT (new)

KrisT | 553 comments I would like any book but won't get any as usual. I think many people think I have so many books also like what Sarah said. I think it is kind of funny because I love the smell of new books.

Sandra (sandee) | 328 comments I have a two week break from work and a month off of form classes and I am trying to stuff so many in there. I cannot wait until the 17th.

Jayme(theghostreader) (jaymetheghostreader) I bought The red Queen

I think I've been on the library waiting list for about 3 months for this book. I haven't even read the first one yet, have it sitting on my shelf so I can read them together.

message 20: by Usako (new)

Usako (bbmeltdown) | 654 comments I have absolutely no control. Walked into Borders to buy JUST a box of blank holiday/cute note cards for work. Once again, I picked up 2-4 books.

My physical TBR bookshelf is growing. And now I want to immediately read an entire series I don't own. Sad.
