Ok, i know a lot of stereotypes about being emo and they aren't always true...for instance, not all emos cut themselves, it could just be someone who is more emotional than others.

I KNOW D: and most people think that emos wear black, that they dont like anybody. i friggin hate those god damn stereotypes -.-

i HATE stereotypes, and first of all Emo is a type of Music, not a style or some sort of depressed kid who wears black, cuts them self, and is all emotional.Emo does not stand for "Emotional", it stand for "Emocore", which like i said is a type of music.F*ck people who stereotype
that makes sense. like in my school, if you have black hair cut the "emo" way, then even if you wear pink (just an example, i would NEVER wear pink) you are classified emo and its like you have an STD
I heard a stereotype that all emo's have peircings, not true, I don't my of my friends who are Emo's dont
