She looked at the board and made notes

The bell rung. Lunch! She got up and walked to the cafeteria with her friends.

Jeydon stood up and gathered his things. He left the room and put his books in his locker before walking to lunch.

She glanced at him and so did a few other girls.

She rolled her eyes and looked away while they stared. She bit into her sandwhich.

Jeydon glanced at a few of the girls and smiled before sitting at his table.

She chatted with her friends for a bit.

Mckenzie got to her car and hopped in, turning it on. She sighed, starting to drive to another day of miserable school.

Jeydon breathed out a sigh as he grabbed his car-keys and exiting the house, shutting the door behind him, "Another day," he mumbled beneath his breath before opening his car door and sliding inside. He closed the door and turned on the ignition, starting his car up before driving toward this boring place called "school".

Queen blasted from the stereo in her car as she drove. When she got to school, she parked and got out of the car, looking up to the building.

Jeydon parked his car in the parking lot and got out, turning his head to the side with a smile plastered on his face, "Hey man," his mate grinned. They began talking as they entered the school building.

McKenzie walked into the school building, her head ducked down. She didn't want to face another shit year. She walked down to her locker, hoping no one would see her.

Jeydon waved to his friend and made his way to his locker, spotting McKenzie in the process. He smirked and walked up behind her, slinging his arms around her shoulders, "Hey Kenzie," he chuckled.

She startled for a moment and realised it was just Jeydon. "Oh hey, you." she smiled. "Whats up? How was summer?"

Jeydon smiled, opening his locker which just so happened to be one away from hers, "It was alright," he shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly, not really wanting to say much about it, "Yours?"

"Not so good." she sighed. "I was grounded the whole time just because I snuck out just for a few hours one night."

Jeydon glanced over at her and raised an eyebrow, "Seriously? Man, that sucks..."

"I know." Mckenzie rolled her eyes, taking out some books and her schedule. "My parents are annoying that way. Anyway, better get to homeroom. Walk with me?"

Jeydon grabbed a few of his books from the messy stack in his locker before shutting it closed, "We'rei n the same homeroom, you bird-brain," he chuckled lightly, before walking toward their room.

she laughed and walked with him, looking for her other friends.

Jey noticed Chelsea send him a flirtatious wink and what was meant to be a sexy smile as he passed her. He smiled and nodded, continuing on until she was out of sight, "Man," he playfully fake shuddered.

Mckenzie laughed out loud. "What you're not going to go hit on her?" she snorted, walking into class.

Jeydon smiled slightly at her laugh, "No way," he murmured as he walked into homeroom, "God knows how many STD's she's got." he chuckled.

"Oh true dat." she agreed, brushing her hair out of her face with her fingers as she walked into the classroom.

Jeydon watched her from the corner of his eye, "What've you got first period?" he asked.

"Biology." she murmured. "You?" she asked. None of her friends were in her homeroom.

Jey nodded, "Calculus," he made a face, "Way to start the first day back."

"Oh." she laughed. "Sucks for you." she said.

"Hm, you can say that again." he chuckled, grabbing his books as the bell went for first period, "I'll see ya," he left the room along with some other students.
