Okay I really like Patricia Briggs' Urban Fantasy as well as Fantasy books. This book was actually written by Briggs between and , but was never published before. If you're familiar with Briggs' earlier books this one is written in the same style. I love her earlier works because they have an older feel to them, like they were written years ago and should be proceeded by Once Upon A Time....

In this book Aralorn's father has been killed, or so she thought until she arrives at his wake. That's when she realizes he isn't dead, but in a magically induced coma like state. Aralorn has only a limited amount of time to find a way of breaking the spell that holds her father or he really will die. All signs point toward Wolf's father, but they are almost 100% sure he's dead. Very fun read.
