For 20.10, I posted my finished tasks at work today and got called out before I could post in the discussion thread. Had planned on finishing it tonight. You were quick this time LOL.

I have posted in the thread now. Do you want me to repost for this task?

As to 5.9, Sorry, my long days and nights at work and having 6 of my grandchildren living with me right now is starting to wear on me. I didn't go back and look at the thread and my personal notes said author and not title.....My bad!!!!! I will repost for that one this week, after I move some books around to make something fit.

Thanks for all your hard work and diligence!!!

ERIN NY post 2185

For task 20.5, the task creators have said that the book must be about a "woman" - the descriptions I can find about Revolution all refer to "two girls" and it appears that the main character is still in high school.

Because there has been a lot of confusion about this requirement, I've asked the task creator for clarification on this book and whether it works for the task.

SHANNON SOUTH AFRICA post 2340
For task 20.5, an "unconventional woman" has been specified to be someone who defies the conventions of society. In the book you used, it does not appear that she defied society or did something that went against the dictates of her society - sounds like she was a very admirable person, who fought for herself and her family, but not someone who defied society.

I saw the discrepancy, too, but I can't check it. Goodreads has been messing around with its privacy settings - and because of your privacy setting, I can no longer click on your name and pull up your posts, so that I can review them against the spreadsheet. I really can't go through over 2000 posts looking for yours.

Two choices - you can friend me, in which case I should be able to see your posts, or you can make a list of all your post #s and send them to me, so at least I'll have something to go on in trying to find your old posts.

CINDIE post 2380

Task 30.7 defines the requirements of the task as
For the purposes of this task YA is defined as having an adolescent or young adult (aged 13-21) as the protagonist

The children in From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs Basil E. Frankweiler are too young to fit this task (from the plot summaries I've found, the older child is 11).

This seems to be something new - it's only been happening for the last couple days. Right now, if you have privacy settings such that only friends can see your profile info, it keeps anyone but friends from clicking on your name to see former posts. It's weird - it doesn't keep people from seeing your posts, but it prevents them from clicking on your name and pulling up all your previous posts - there have been complaints about this in the feedbacks forum and I think they're planning on looking into it.

Task 10.7 requires that you choose a book from your favorite genre from the listings on BookPage.com. I was unable to find any listing for Fire Study on the site. If I'm just missing it there, please let me know where you found it.

NICKI STL post 2458
For task 5.9, the task requires that there be no L in the title, as well as in the author's name.
For task 20.10, you need to post in the discussion thread.
For task 30.7, a total of 800 pages is required, and the task requires a brief explanation of why each book is YA, which sub-genre it belongs to, and whether it's a standalone or series book.

For task 30.3, book A must take place in one of the specified cold winter countries. Even though Alaska is seriously cold, it's still part of the U.S., so Fire and Ice won't work for this task.

For task 30.8, the book you listed for part A, Aphrodite's Kiss by Julie Kenner doesn't have all the letters for ASIA in the title or the author's name.

For task 30.10, the task requires that the two authors be from different countries.
