(Yeah, 4.5 feet actually caused a "State of Emergency" on the major highway 10 minutes from my house... 350+ people stranded because of the snow qualls and drifts. They even had to call the military in to airlift people out of there!!!! Glad we had nowhere to go!)

However, as an indie author who self-published, I'm feeling a little confused about the local indie bookstore burying my book in a back corner under some brochures while their so-called "INDIE NEXT LIST" fails to name a single independently published non-BIG-SIX author.

I'm not saying they shouldn't sell name published authors. I'm merely wondering why there's a double standard. They couldn't even shelve my book in the proper section? Just so people can see it next to books of the same genre?
