And this one:

Edit: Even if nothing on her home page, the member who entered it might have gotten it from her web site or another web site.
Edit: It's showing up plenty of other places:

Very funny and so true.
I entered this one: This World We Live In and put in title and #3 moon book and 2010 and the web site link. Someone else has added the book description. It is best to enter as much information as we have, but I've seen books to be published with just title & author.

Michael- I was thinking the same thing when I saw it. I read Tricks by Ellen Hopkins the other day and it's not out until Aug. Someone actually rated it a five star and put in the review section that they're going to try to see if they can make it a five star rating. Obviously a child but still pretty insane if you ask me. There are a few other people besides me who rated from the ARC though so I'm sure her rating was thrown off by now.
I just don't understand why someone would WANT to mess up the rating!

(The asterisks were so I could remember which needed to go by the way....LOL)

No, that's got a unique publisher and cover image.
That one is also a legitimate alternate. It has a unique cover. (And foreign editions sometimes lack ISBNs.)

I'm glad I couldn't delete those because I really thought they should go.

Yes, if there's something to indicate that this edition isn't an exact duplicate of other editions, it should stay.
(On publishers, sometimes the same publisher will have a publisher name, an imprint name, a house name, etc., so you can get the same edition with two different publisher names; I'd try to research the publishers to be sure that they're variations on the same one before merging the books, though.)

It looks like rivka's on that one, so I'll leave it be. :)

Yes. Also, pre-1966 books are usually left too -- they don't have ISBNs.
Yes, that last one can go, but only when combine with the correct edition.

That last one was already combined with something before I got there...I think. Thanks for the info guys!

I've sent him three really long messages today (besides the one letting him know at first) and trying to help him. He had no idea what he was doing. He thought that was what he had to go through to list a book and he told me he was about to stop coming here.
So I've given him DETAILED directions on how to search for a book and I told him to try a few and then get back to me. :)
