This is why you are awesome :) Hopefully they'll respond back, but I think you're right about which one you think it is.
Jessica, There are other possibilities too. I asked them to please search for It Must Be Magic and if they find it to put it on their shelves and to please delete the manually added one. We will see. I'm really reluctant to delete books. I've entered a bunch of manually added books and when I was new to Goodreads, I didn't add as much information as I could have, although I always entered more than is present in this case.
Edit: I have no problem deleting non ISBN items that are not books!
I don't like deleting them either, that's why I posted it here.

Abcdarian, No, there's never any point in deleting an item with an ISBN; it will just pop right back into the Goodreads database. This is not a book though so I went ahead and NOT A BOOKed it. That's how these types of items are handled. Thanks for checking.
It has an ISBN, therefore, if it gets deleted it will be re-imported from Amazon. However, it has been marked as NOT A BOOK, which is all we can do if it has an ISBN, but is not really a book (e.g., floor displays, decks of cards, calendars, etc.).

Thanks Lisa and the mystery person! This member added A LOT of books that were already in the system. I'm still going through her books- thankfully she doesn't have that many added!

Eva, Well, if you wan to post the profile, I'm sure some other librarians might work on it too. If there are many of them, GR will sometimes intervene also.
Thanks Lisa- I just finished but I actually hadn't thought about that. She didn't have very many books added but most of the ones she added were so, so, so wrong. Most of the time the author was a different author all together or the title was spelled wrong, she was using her own descriptions and using that field to specify to-read, already read, etc. The setting was being put as her own hometown- for every book. LOL I'm happy to be done though! I told her to feel free to message me and I'd walk her through adding something but I think, and I told her this, that it's actually not common to HAVE to add anything. I think the system is fairly well stocked. Every single one she added was in the system, that shows something right there. I've never once had to add anything yet and I read a lot and have a HUGE to-read list. I think this system is pretty extensive personally. But I told her that the librarians would be happy to help. Hopefully, like you said, she'll listen!
Thanks for the comment though- know you've put it in my head that if I come across a 'too-big' problem to ask for help instead of trying to tackle it myself and going nuts. (If I didn't know how to do something I'd ask of course but if it was just a lengthy problem that I knew how to do I'd go on for days before I asked for help! LOL)

Eva, Well, thanks for all the work. It sounds like it was quite a project. I've had to manually add many books, but virtually all of them are pre-ISBN era books and occasionally there's one yet to be published but in the pipeline. There are also some esoteric or foreign language books missing. Most books are already here though.
No Belén, It's a foreign language edition that I think should stay in the database.
I happened to take a look and there were multiple other copies of the book in that specific language with full information, so I separated-deleted-recombined them to get the reviews onto a matching language rather than the English version.

I guess I read more general books, ones that are bound to be found easily! These were ALL books already in the system and what really got me thinking was the member added the same book two or three times in some cases. That's two or three of her listings and the one or ones already there! I couldn't figure that out at all. I haven't heard back from her but hopefully she'll use my search directions!

I have a question- why is it sometimes a link to a persons page will go to the login for FaceBook? The person who added the book on the second link above is one this happens and it's not the first time. That is confusing me bigtime!
Okay, I deleted the second one, sorry- only the first one needs a super. I commented too soon. :)

It means they use the FB app exclusively, and never GR alone.
Ah, I don't do FB so I was thinking it was some sort of spam thing. One of the last spammers I saw here it happened with and I guess I got the idea there. Makes sense though- I didn't even know that was possible! Thanks rivka!

Not sure about this one. It's a bogus ISBN, but the cover/publisher is slightly unique. Would it be okay to merge it with this one? I was thinking the cover from the crazy ISBN could replace the cover from the other one. It's the same thing but without that awful "Only $2.99!" sticker. And the publisher is the same.

JG - I got the first one. But the second one looks like a unique edition to me. I'm going to let someone else look at it and see what they think.
JG, I'd missed your message # 852. I'm not sure if it's that one the exact same edition as the third one. I don't have time to look at all the editions to see if there's a closer match or to check the ISBNs, but it does look like an incorrect ISBN. I suspect you're correct, but I'm also waiting for validation.

Hi, can a superuser please delete this: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/25...This a duplicate with no isbn, etc. It was started with a misspelled author name and no book cover. I corrected the name and added the cover, but didn't realize, until too late, that it already had a correct edition.

If another librarian wants to delete this maybe it should go, but it's an old enough book (1972, very specific) that I'm going to leave it. If I had more motivation right now I might message the member who manually entered it and ask them to put in more information, especially into the book description field since the author is Various.
Edit: Well, even that member didn't add it!
So, I am going to message them.
Edit again: So, I messaged them but it's probably a book, unless it's an incorrect title/author. It is on shelves:
