jenjn79 | 564 comments That cover for The Crush looks like an alt. cover edition. I checked around and it looks like it that cover edition had the same ISBN as this book. That one was published by Warner. The one you posted, the green cover, looks to be from Grand Central Publishing...which took over Warner (or Warner switched to that name...not sure how it went, just that it did). GPC reissued a lot of books under their previous ISBNs but with new covers.

I'll add some more info to the edition and a note on the ISBN.

And just a note...if a blank ISBN edition has a cover, be careful about deleting it. A lot of those are alt. cover editions.

jenjn79 | 564 comments No problem. I'd actually come across the Warner/GPC-same ISBN/different cover issue before on a couple books of mine.

re: blank ISBNs & covers...I knew you guys knew not to delete them by default, but I don't think a lot of others know to compare covers first. So I wanted to mention it.

...I have to wonder, though, about people who take the time to create a new edition PLUS upload a cover, but don't add a single other piece of information.

I tend to agree. But I know some people (some of whom are members here) who feel this way. When I notice, I add info to their books like that. ;)

When we try to delete it, it requires a super-librarian, although it has no reviews (weird). Some help would be good.

The system has been objecting to deleting books not combined with something else if they have even one review. I combined the two and deleted the extra one.

It's a manual entry of an incorrect title (even spells the main character's name wrong.) After doing research, it is actually Mrs. Pollifax and the Second Thief, so have combined and now just need the incorrect title deleted.
