This book and this one are the same. I wanted to delete the first (the one with no cover or ISBN) and merge the reviews, but a superlibrarian is requested. Can someone help?

By the same author, this book has 4 other editions but they are all the same (3 of them have been added by the same user)!

But the problems with this author's books aren't over. This book is repeated with this one. I don't understand what kind of ISBN is that one...

Last but not least, this book should be deleted because it's the same edition than this book.

Next time, it would be great if you could combine all of them with the real edition first. That way when we delete them, the reviews automatically move over to the most popular edition.

BTW, I thought that non-supers could delete books with less than ten reviews, but the pop-up box says five. Am I remembering wrong or did they change it?

Sherry, I deleted that book after combining it with the next-most-popular audio cassette (I saw the one confused reviewer, but I'm inclined to preserve the information).

vicki_girl, are you sure that edition should be deleted? It is dated 1966, which is on the border for lacking an ISBN....

Hmm, well I didn't find any info for it on Google books. However, further investigation on Amazon leads me to believe it's legit after all. Many 'editions' of it are listed, so multiple people have entered it onto amazon that way. I will go in and add additional info to make it clearer.

This was one of the 'Cool Readers' books, so when I could find it on Google Books, I thought it needed deleting...

This edition only has an ISBN-13. This other edition has only the ISBN-10. According to Amazon these two ISBN's are for the same book, so one needs to go.

Yes, exactly.

I separated the two books (indonesian edition) and combine just the two of them to make the ratings go to the right book instead of to the most popular one.

Some people get irritated when they find their book cover changes without their consent. that is why re-combining shall be performed after the deletion, not before.

It's strange. This book has only one review but everytime I try to delete, it says it need a super user to do this. So please delete this:

There's no other edition of this book mentioned in your message # 554 and it's a foreign language edition, so I'm going to leave it alone.

If any librarians who know the language can find other editions of this and want to combine and delete any editions that are basically duplicates, then go for it.
