I think WICKED had good intentions, but were run by crazies so everything got out of hand and a lot of people died. I still don't get how putting a bunch of guys (and girls: Scorch trails) in a huge maze and having them escape is going to save the world. If it was for training, why didn't they just train them?
Okay, the original idea about testing them was goodish, but the torturing by the severness of the tests was just cruel.
Did you all read or are reading the Scorch Trials? It's WICKED intense! (see what i did there?)Sorry, bad joke.

"intense" like camping! lol
I am hoping that by the end of the Death Cure we will have a logical reason as to WHY 1. WICKED tortured the kids to the extent that they did (I personally am thinking that it was to see if they could withstand what else WICKED had in store for them - we just don't know what that is yet);
and
2. the girls and the boys were seperated into two different mazes
The question still is: Is WICKED bad? I agree with crazyboutFAYZ. They have good intentions - they want to save the human race. What is bad about that?
What has happened to the earth is nothing less then drastic, horrific. There will be no simple solution to saving the world and there will be no time to just see if the "safe choice" works. Yes, people will die - but if it doesn't work, everyone will die anyways. Should these kids be put through the trials that they have been through? No, no way. But what alternative is there? Maybe put adults through the trials...? But for all we know, they are too. Maybe there is something we dont know, like more adults are affected with the Flare then teenagers, or the Flare progresses more rapidly in adults, so they are not good candidates for the trials. We don't know everything yet, there is still another book. SO - I think we will come to find out that WICKED is good... until then, there needs to be an antagonist in the story, right?
WICKED definitely had good intentions, and there must be a reason for the way they are testing the teenagers. If we find out that the whole thing was just a game or something to find out how they would react to certain circumstances or something I am going to be sooo mad.
I think they have good intensions, but by trying to save people, they are killing off others. Bad way to go about researching. So yes and no
Well think the choice of their name really says it all. If a superhero was named wicked, we would think of him as a supervillian instead. I don't know how you try to cure people by killing them. Makes no sense. Hi by the way.
Did you guys read the last book? After reading it I finally made my decision whether or not wicked is good or bad
If I tried to really comment on this... this would become an essay. Or just a ramble of my thoughts... but still. 'Twould be long and no one would read it... In short, I wasn't the biggest fan of WICKED. ESPECIALLY at the end. ESPECIALLY WHEN I found out that (view spoiler) But then there's Chancellor Paige to consider... yet I didn't really like her either.
Chancellor Paige was so out of the blue! It was like 'oh wait not everyone is evil!' Hence WICKED is wicked. Would any organization in their right minds attempt to kill Minho? He is just awesome. He is officially my valentine this year.
I know right! Chancellor Paige just seemed to show up... she just was weird. And remember the graffiti on her pictures in Denver? It didn't SEEM like she was good! Yet she saved to Thomas... but the problem is, there's just so much of this story that's untold... like Thomas never did get his memories back, and that kind of screws a lot up, or at least for me.
OMG, I just remembered Chuck! He used to be my favorite character, he was just so chill and simple :) good times, good times (Last week when I read the first book). Back to the subject, agreed.
I loved Chuck but he of course died. Sigh.I don't think WICKED could be good. Did they ever do anything good at all??
I know, I was hoping he'd come back, but I knew it wouldn't happenNo, I don't think so. The question is: Did they ever do anything besides for the sake of research? and again, the answer is no.

Lol same here: "Last week, when I read the book..." Hahaha I was the same way like 10 minutes ago. I was eating dinner and I was like, "OMG CHUCK!!!!"

They never do anything good!
Hahaha awesome, I keep saying it... one of my teachers thought I was saying the, erm, OTHER word that sounds like shuck. :P
In my head I'll be like 'Shuck!' and then I have to look around to make sure I didn't say it out loud.
