Nook Cases

Right! I agree. I am starting to love my Nook more && more as i go. I would pay that price all over again.

I have the Cambridge cover in chocolate (http://gifts.barnesandnoble.com/Cambr...) and I really like it. My boyfriend works at B&N and bought me the Nook/cover as my Christmas gift (live in customer service, and knowledgeable about accessories, etc!) and gave it to me early. I had the option of exchanging it but I really like it. It makes me feel like I'm holding a hardcover leather bound book. It looks like one as well. While there are many covers I love (from looking at them at the store so often), but I did not feel the necessity of high priced Kate Spade brand. I'm sure I'll buy other ones as time goes on.

I also got that, but returned it as I had the one that has the light in it. LOVE it!! I read around an hour every night when I go to bed and that keeps me from having a light on and keeping my husband awake. Decided not to keep the other cover since I didn't want to be switching back and forth all of the time.

I got a NookColor for Christmas, and gave my daughter my original Nook for Christmas, and she got a new cover for it, so I'm selling this cover, if anyone's interested: http://gifts.barnesandnoble.com/Madis... - it's in really good condition. I have it on Craigslist for $30, but I'm open to offers - I'd have to receive payment via paypal (for whatever we agree on and to cover shipping) before I'd send it out. I have all the original packaging and everything - it's really been a great case, my 8-year-old just wanted something different! :)

I searched and searched for a protective sleeve that I liked but my criteria was pretty specific. I wanted something ligthweight, no velcro (I wanted to be stealthy when taking my Nook in and out of its case) and inexpensive (in case I didn't like it). So I ended up just sewing one up.



I basically cut four squares of quilt fabric 2 inches larger than the Nook. I sandwiched lightweight quilt batting between the layers and then sewed it up. I added a button closure at the top. It took me a little over an hour and since I used scraps and stuff I already had, it was free. Done.

I ordered a neoprene case for my nook that I got for Christmas, but I was looking for something like a silicone case to keep it from getting scratch and such. I was actually looking on Overstock.com to see if I could find a laptop tote, and I came across these

Its a water resistant case for your Nook. I'm not sure how well it would work, but I just thought that I Would post it in case anyone was interested!

I think that first one is the one I bought, and I really disliked it. It added so much heft to the reader and I found the bright color distracting. (I got the pink.) YMMV.

That waterproof case looks really chintzy to me. My husband carries his kindle in a ziplock bag and that doesn't look much different. ;-)

I may get a screen protector while it's $1 shipping, though.

I have had 4 covers. The first three weren't exactly what I wanted. I had the pink envelope, the neopherene sleeve and another pink one that surounded my nook. I much prefer my jonathan adler version. The one thing that I have always had is the screen protectors! I won't have any screens bare!

I've never had a problem either, I was really surprised how well the Nook stays in, it's snug as a bug :)

I love my Nook. I got it in November, and i got the case shortly thereafter. I have a blue case that I will eventually be putting a picture of my two baby cats in. :) My Nook case has straps at the TOP of the case. They're very secure. Going to try and buy another case to switch out once in a while. Unfortunately, all of the cases I really like are for the Nook Color. I have the Nook WiFi

Very easy. Just make sure you put them in a folder in your screensavers folder, and give the folder a name. Also they may need to be "unzipped" first, if they have several images.
