My boyfriend died about a year ago.

I was in the hospital for kidney problems and he was driving to visit me on a rainy day.

The police said his car flipped over due to the rain. He died an hour later in the same hospital I stayed at.

Before he died, he told the doctors to give me his kidney.

My best friend died in a car accident on his way to deliver me soup for my cold.

Found in the car was also a bouquet of flowers and a card that read:

"We've been best friends for the last 5 years. Now, let's be lovers for the next 50."

3 days ago, my best friend died.

2 days ago, I found that she was an organ donor.

1 day ago, I heard that a nine year old boy now had her heart.

Today, I met that nine year old boy. He told me that because he had my best friend's heart, he'd be my best friend now.

In 6th grade, I broke up with my first boyfriend.

He became my best friend. Six years later at our high school graduation, he makes his valedictorian speech.

The last thing he says? "Maddy, I never stopped loving you. Its been six years... Can we try again?"

We just celebrated our 50th anniversary together.

In high school, my best friend and I swore that we would never date.

Our friends laughed, and joked that they would quote us on that at our wedding.

They did.

I was abused by my parents as a child.

My little brother texted my best friend that I was threatened to be killed by my parents.

Jake drove to my house. When he got there my dad pulled a gun on me and Jake jumped in front and the bullet went in his arm.

Today I sit next my husband who risked his life for mine

I told my best friend that I felt so un-loved.

He hung up on me, and I burst into tears, thinking he didn't care about me.

30 minutes later, the doorbell rang. I opened the door to find him standing there, skateboard in hand.

He lives a city away. He pulled me into his arms, and told me he loved me.

When my boyfriend and I were 13, he wanted to give me a piggy back ride, but I refused because I thought I was too fat.

He picked me up and said, "You better get used to this, cause I'm picking you up like this on our wedding day."

We got married last night. He carried me just like he said he would.

15 years ago, two kids fell in love with each other.

The girl then had to move 1500 miles away, but the boy promised he would find her one day.

Last year, she was in the hospital. The doctor walked in and said, "I told you I would find you one day."

We are getting married in a month

A long time ago, I was on the verge of committing suicide when a guy came to the roof to have lunch.

He saw me climbing over the railing and asked me to share his lunch with him. After receiving my puzzled look, he explained,

"Everyone should die happy. Or at least with a full stomach."

We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary last month.

22 years ago, a 16 year old girl was pregnant with a baby of rape.

Understanding the circumstances, her parents told her to abort or be disowned.

Her best friend - her 18 year old neighbor - although he was not the father, stepped into the father figures shoes. They got married 2 years later.

Mom and Dad, your love for me, and for each other

Me and my boyfriend always tell eachother our wishes.

One night, we were looking at the stars, and his watched beeped to tell him it was 11:11. I asked him what his wish was.

He got down on one knee and said. "I wish you would marry me" and pulled out a ring.

My boyfriend is 17, and a little overweight.

I'm 14, and average weight.

Everyone says "What do you see in him?" I've never been embarrassed by him, but he sometimes gets scared I am.

One day, a little girl saw us and said "Look mommy, a fairytale couple. That's beautiful."

Innocent little girls that know true love GMH.

The most popular guy at my high school has everything he wants.

But every day at lunch, when he could be hanging out with people, he goes down to the elementary school to hug his sister and tell her that he loves her.

Today marked the one year anniversary of my boyfriend's death.

It's also the day I found the engagement ring in the pocket of the jacket he was wearing the night of our accident.

He always wanted to have something posted on here.

Markus, this is a trubute to you. Your love STILL gives me hope.

I suffer from bulimia and it's really taken a toll on my parents.

My daddy knows that lemons are my safe food, the one thing I can keep down.

When I first moved into my apartment he went grocery shopping, as I was putting everything away, I pulled out a bag of lemons.

I stared at him and he just smiled and walked away.

Today my mom and I drove to the airport to pick up my aunt.

When the passengers emerged from the gate I couldn't see her.

However, I did see boyfriend still in his army greens. I ran and hugged him.

A random woman cried and said she had never seen two people so in love.

Then he proposed.

message 18: by [deleted user] (new)

Tonight i proposed to my girlfriend. We went out to a fancy resaurant. I asked the wiater to put her ring in the drink she ordered. We both ordered sprite. We were both drinking when i felt something stuck at the end of my straw. I pulled it up the same time as her and we both find rings in our drinks. Turns out we both decided to propose at the same. We both yelled yes at the same time and kissed. then the three tables behind us said "Awww!" And our waiter yelled "just like in my head!". It was like the highlight of my life.

~Tormiester~ (hatsoff343) | 58 comments “…Y-…Y-You came…b-back…” Her voice broke on the last word. Keith dropped her wrist, grasped both of her shoulders, and crushed her to him. Shelly wrapped her arms around him, taking in his smell, feeling his body under her fingertips and against her own body. It wasn’t a hologram.
He was real. He was here, with her.
Her love.

message 21: by ~Tormiester~ (new)

~Tormiester~ (hatsoff343) | 58 comments Huffing, Shelly asked, “Did I tell you that I love you?”

Keith nodded, “Yes, but it wouldn’t hurt to say it again.”

Shelly giggled, the sweetest sound Keith has ever heard, “I love you.”

Keith hugged her to him as she hugged him back, “I love you too, Shelly. And this time I’m not going anywhere.”

“I believe you.”

~Tormiester~ (hatsoff343) | 58 comments A love between friends, a reunion.

“Shelly.” Alice’s tone was flat.
Shelly mimicked her tone, “Alice.” Then she smiled replying in a more gentle tone, “…Alice. My Alice, how long has it been?”

“Too long.” Alice said sternly before giving a face as if she was about to burst into tears with a smile on her face, “Far, far too long, dear Shelly.” And then they both cried happy tears as they hugged each other tightly.

Shelly smiled against her tears, “I’m back, Ali, and I’m not going to leave you this time.”

Alice pulled away with a sniffle to look at her friend, “You sure? Are you absolutely positive that you won’t leave us? I don’t know about everyone else, but I just couldn’t take it if you left me again!” Shelly put a hand to cup Alice’s cheek, using her thumb to wipe away as many tears from her face.

Letting go, Alice used her apron to dry her tears while Shelly made no attempt to clear hers, she felt that if she wiped them away the moment they shared would be lost. However, something deep inside her knew that it was only the beginning.

"I love you, Ali." This made Alice sniffle again as more tears surfaced and spilled.

"Oh Shell! When have I ever stopped loving you?" she was crying into her soaking-wet sleeve.

The smile never left Shelly's face for a moment, "I don't think that that's even possible for you."

Alice sniffled back more tears, "You got that right!" They laughed together, true friends reunited.

~Tormiester~ (hatsoff343) | 58 comments Camilla wrote: "@ Mistye: If you loved A Walk to Remember, then check out Sing Me to Sleep by Angela Morrison ... it is AMAZING!"

Seriously??? I have that on my "to-read" list but I was a bit sketchy about it.

message 45: by Camilla (new)

Camilla (camillaisloved) OH MY! It is THE saddest book I have ever read. And I have read some sad books: Dear John, A Walk to Remember, The Notebook!, My Sister's Keeper, Plain Truth, and those are just off the top of my head.

But this book! This book you will need a BOX of tissues. I cried. And not the little tears and little sobs kind of cry. This was a full blown "I-am-crying-and-I-can't-see-the-text-anymore-and-I-have-snot-coming-down-my-face-and-I-feel-like-I-can't-breathe" kind of cry! I HAD to put the book down to calm myself. I didn't want to, but I just couldn't read due to my blurred vision. Even then, when I calmed enough to read again, I was still crying. All the way to the end!

So, yeah. Just my way of saying, "Read the book! It's Amazing! *and don't forget your box of Kleenex!* If you do decide to read it, let me know what you think.
