It's time again to nominate books for our monthly reading for 2011. As you will recall, last year, we asked group members to nominate in separate threads six books from the official WB reading list that were classics, and six books from the official WB list that were modern selections.

So, what we need you to do is nominate *SIX* classics and *SIX* modern books. Please list each six in order of most wanted on down. The top six of each will be the selections for the year. The moderators will together decide which book for which month and post the list before the new year. Please understand that if you do not nominate six in each that you will not be voting for all the months of the year. That is your choice, but you only get one vote per month this time, so I recommend using them all.

Below is the list of the classics from the main list that we have yet to read as a group. Nominate your six from this list. The voting will end one month from today on December 6, 2010. We will then have almost a month to get a copy/download of January's selection.

• Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank
• Beloved by Toni Morrison
• Brave New World by Aldous Huxley
• Complete Tales & Poems by Edgar Allan Poe

I had trouble finding 6 of the modern ones that I really wanted to read, but with this list... I want to read all of them, or have read the ones I would normally have chosen.
