The obvious dystopian series of choice for most people. Amazing messages, memorable characters, intriguing plot, terrifyingly possible world...what more could one ask for from a dystopian trilogy?

I don't often reread books. I don't have the time, but Hunger Games and its sequels will definitely be rereads for me too.

I like how your say terrifyingly possible, Kyle. Because really that is something we can see people rationalizing.

Could society evolve to revere one sort of people above another? You bet. It happens every day in almost every country.

Could people be brutal with that prejudice? Again. We see that all the time. History is riddled with shameful accounts of brutality far worse than simply facilitating the slaughter of a few dozen children and youth.

What other similarities do you see with the HUnger Games and real life?
