Jesi (pwnedkitten) Come on, don't be shy: give us your opinion of the book!

Sandi (sandikal) I gave it 4 stars in my review, but it's probably just 3-1/2. The plot had a lot of holes and some of the character's actions didn't make any sense. However, the descriptions were extremely vivid and the story pulled me along despite my protestations.

Julie I'd have to give it 3-4 stars. I was a little worried about reading this book and thought it would be painful to read but it wasn't. Some of the characters were one dimensional but the story did make me think and wonder. Which is more than some books do. I still have questions and I wonder why some of the characters did what they did, if I'm thinking these things after I finish a book then it should be a four. But I really don't understand the why of some of the actions of the characters but I think that was the point.

Art imitating life, you think?

Julie I guess so, suicide in any form will never make sense to me. And why people stay with people when they aren't happy doesn't make sense either. So yes, art putting it in such a way to make you think.

Margot (freezebaby) I think I gave it a three, though like many of you I would more accurately rate it a 3.5. For me, the plot dragged toward the middle, before Robert finally got up the nerve to introduce himself to the twins. That whole section took too long. And the plot, in the end, was extremely predictable. I wasn't surprised or delighted by the ending.
