Couldn't go without radio in the house and I could use the ipod in the car. I listen to BBC radio 4 as the background to my life and don't watch tv.

Laura, such a great question. Did you know only 30% of Americans can even read a map?! I remember they taught us in high-school, along with a bus schedule and how to fill out a work application. LOL. Anyway...map (I don't have GPS, but I will occasionally look things up on MapQuest).

I wouldn't be surprised on that stat, but I'm big on maps when traveling. I love getting oriented to my locale and I generally have no problems finding my way around (Venice proved difficult, but getting lost is half the fun...right?) I get frustrated with my peers who rely on their phones with GPS. Anyhoo, rant over.I'll do spaghetti with just a fork, but I am a great fork/spoon twirler. :)
