LuAnn (luanndg) | 1 comments Just a few days ago, I went to my library in hopes of finding a good book about werewolves to help usher in the Halloween spirit. I did not find one, but on my way out I saw this orange book sitting at the top of a pile of books labeled "Halloween Treats". I had the strangest feeling that I should just read it.

This book found me at precisely the right time that I needed to be found. I cannot express to you how much I truly adore this novel. It has reminded me that a person must keep their strengths in the midst of all the inevitable family storms that we weather.

"Of Bees" has also rekindled the act of abstract and fantastical thought in me. It has reminded me to tell a story with passion and devotion to the tale, and to see both the lesson and the lure in the language.

Thank you for your creativity and for this tale that clings close to my heart.

Thank you, LuAnn. So lovely to hear from you.

I must thank your local librarian or whoever it was who showcased BEES along with other "Halloween Treats"--what a great idea. I do believe that some books find you and grab you just at the right time. Too early, and you'll hate it. Too late, and it won't matter. I'm glad BEES is such a book for you.

All best,
Erick
