Kelly (plottwist) | 1 comments @mackenzie - I'm exactly the opposite. I love the fever series - hands down, my favorite series of all time (to date). I love the whole concept and that the first (several) stories focused on Mac -- and Barron's. I love the epic nature of the stories. I will say I felt a little teased with Dani and Ryodan -- I was hoping Burned or Feverborn would be more of their story...I want (so badly to get back to that) -- but the ending of Feverborn .. Oh. My. Heart. It stopped beating.

The Hughlander books are all delicious individually - but much more cookie cutter and predictable. I love them, mind you!! But they didn't engage me nearly as much as the fever books. Only 6 more months for the next one

Lea Kane | 2 comments I prefer the Fever series. I loved how one book led to another, getting to continue the storyline. Truly loved the characters. Jericho is by far the best male character IMO. As for the Highlander series, I really liked those as well, although they became predictable. Sometimes the climax came very late and was too short and when you know each storyline is a virgin playing cat and mouse with a Highlander, the main event should be action packed with surprises, twists and turns, and OMG's to keep one truly sated in the end.

Lea Kane | 2 comments I really wish I had read the Highlander series first. I didn't get to enjoy any of the characters crossing over into the Fever series. They were just names to me then & I can't even go back and reread those parts because I digested those books so quickly I would not even know where to begin. :-(

Between the two series, I guess I would choose Fever, mostly bc I like an epic story told in multiple books, like Harry Potter, The Mortal Instruments, Divergent Series etc. I had that with this series BUT awesome characters like Adam Black and the Keltar twins cannot be denied greatness.

The format between these two series is totally different so not fair to compare, IMO.
