Does anyone watch the Event? Does it have anything to do with sci-fi/fantasy? And what is the actual event? The show doesn't look very good so I don't think I'm going to watch it but the commercials have got me just curious enough to want to find out - the cheating way ;)

I totally understand. My brother has been trying to get me to watch it. I think he says it has to do with aliens. Aliens crashed here in 45 I think he said, and no, from what he told me, it wasn't Roswell. I think there were survivors from the crash, and they're waiting...others to come for them. I think. I can't remember everything he told me.
Pretty boring so far. Heard it was similar to Lost so I thought I'd give it a try. Still waiting for it to get interesting though. It tries really hard. I may give up on it after a few more eps.
Well I'm enjoying it so far. Only 3 episodes in so a way to go but I'm hopeful.
Aliens? It figures. That seems like the ending for anything people can't think of an ending for. (Indiana Jones *cough* *cough*)Don't get me wrong, sometimes they're cool (I'm a huge X-Files fan) but lately they've just been kind of weak.
Yeah Miranda, I agree. I hate when they provide a catch-all ending that can explain anything, like aliens, or *ahem* like the one on LOST, haha.

Yeah. I haven't given up yet! I stick with shows pretty long. Like Ghost Whisperer even though it reallly sucks, haha. I can't help it.
I gave it up after wbout 58 episodes - was bored
It actually did get more interesting, instead of just being sappy crap. And the characters aren't as static, to the point where you actually care about them and they're believable. But then they got rid of my fave char. :[ I'm almost done with season 4 now.
