Laura walked through the halls of school.

Cristy sighed. She was heading into her first class, Biology, and sat down.

Laura looked at her class list, Sophmore Bio. it said

I am so glad I don't have advanced Bio for Sophmore year. Cristy thought. It works so well..advanced history, math, and english, but not Bio...thank god.

Laura walked into her Biology class. Great I am the only Freshman here. she thought sitting down

"Hi!" Cristy waved to the girl in front of her. "How's it going?"

"It's good." Laura said in an almost whisper

"Come on!" Cristy said, laughing. "Don't be shy! Freshmen, arn't ya? I'm Cristy." She stuck out her hand. "Nice to metcha!"

"I'm Laura." she said shaking Cristy's hand

"Cool!" Cristy said. "I like that name. How you likeing high school?"

"Yeah." Laura said, "It big."

"Yeah, I was like you on my first day. I thought It was big too!" Cristy said.

"Well I use to be homeschooled so it is different." Laura said

Noel was walking down the hall to go to biology.

"Oh, cool!" Cristy said.

Noel went into the classroom and sat down. Class was about to start. Noel always took more intrest in biology and math then anything else. He liked every subject but mainly biology and math. He didn't have much friends, barely any. Some say hi here and there.

"I guess." Laura shrugged

"Oh, you want to make some friends?" Cristy walked up to Noel, a guy that had been in her math class for the whole middle, and high school years. "Hi Noel! This is Laura." She said.

The teacher was explaining todays activity. Noel sat and listened. When the teacher was done talking everyone went to the lab and got to work. Everyone worked individually.

[Soumya]

" Oh, hi, Cristy. Nice to meet you Laura," Noel said. He has known Cristy for quite a while.

"So...I gotta go back to my seat sorry, class started!" Cristy went back to her seat. She started working on her lab.

"Nice to meet you to." Laura said before returning to her seat to work on the lab

That was odd, Noel thought and went back to work.

"Ugh, I hate bio.." Cristy said, still working.

Noel wondered why Christy said hi and then left like she didn't care. Whatever, he thought. And he kept on working.

Laura worked on the lab and finished. I am the only freshman and now the only person done. she thought

Noel finished his work and sat there waiting for class to be over.

Cristy finished soon after Laura.

I wonder if anyone else is finished, Noel thought.

Laura started drumming her nails on the desk

Noel saw Laura just sitting there doing nothing, " Oh, hi. You done?" he asked her.

Cristy sighed and waited for the bell to ring, and for her to sped off to Honors Geometry. Stupid bell! She thought Ring already!

"Yeah." Laura said, "I finished a while ago."

Suddenly the bell rang and it was time for Noel to go to Geometry.

Yes! Cristy gathered her books, said good bye to Laura, and ran to Geomertry, one of her favorite classes. She sat down and waited to see who was in her class.

Laura got up and headed for Public Speaking.

Noel walked into Geometry and sat down.

She got there and sat towards the front of the room At least there are Freshman here she thought

"Noel!" Cristy said to herself. "He's in my math class again!" She walked over to him. "Sorry about Bio." She said. "I didn't want to get in trouble."

Noel spotted Cristy there but didn't say anything.

" It's okay. In my math class again, huh?" Noel said.

"Yep..how many years has it been? 5?" Cristy asked.

[Soumya]

" I think so. Bored to be in the same class again?" Noel asked stupidly.(sorry)

Laura listen to the teacher until he assigned an oral report due the next week. Great. she thought

"I guess..not really...at least I know one person." Cristy said.

" Hm....made any friends?" He asked her, " other then that girl....um, Laura? She seems to be a nice girl."

"She is. But not any new ones from last year." Cristy said. "You?"
