Scout (goodreadscomscout) We all have a favorite character, or two or three. Who are yours?

message 2: by Suzanne (last edited Oct 30, 2010 10:21AM) (new)

Suzanne (bellamy22) 'Louis' from 'Interview With The Vampire' Anne Rice

The cousins in the 'Gone Away Lake' books from Elizabeth Enright

message 3: by Jim (new)

Jim (jimmaclachlan) Conrad from This Immortal, although it would be great to meet Jack from Jack of Shadows just to see if he lived.

Scout (goodreadscomscout) A favorite of mine is James Lee Burke's Dave Robichaux because he has principles he tries to live by, but when he comes up short, he feels regret and tries to make amends.

It's got to be Lisbeth Salander for the Millenium series.

And his daughter, Alafair...

message 8: by Scout (new)

Scout (goodreadscomscout) I like the name Alafair.

And what about Clete Purcell? Difficult to admire all his actions, but you can admire his loyalty to his friend. We'd all be lucky to have a friend that sticks like he does, even though he's a pain at times.

Suzanne (bellamy22) Absolutely!

Jim (jimmaclachlan) Sam from Lord of Light. I'd like to find out what he did afterward. Conrad from This Immortal would also be fun to talk with. I somehow doubt I'd get the truth from either of them, though.
