Ha. I know this isn't a Harry Potter group. But still. A question from my Psych quiz:

There is a famous collection of movies about a trio of kids who are in the same "year" at school. You may have heard of them, but just in case you haven't, they are the Harry Potter films. Of the three characters, Hermione is very level-headed, dislikes breaking the rules, and always tries to act responsibly. Ronald, on the other hand, tends to be a bit of a slacker, is irresponsible, and is often more interested in having fun than he is taking care of his obligations. Hermione's ________ age appears to be much higher than Ron's.

I've read almost every single Shannon Hale blog post and she seems awesome and friendly and kind. Not to mention I was on her fan forum with fans who have met with her an real life and say that she is just as great.

So do we trust someone who just took the things that Meyer said and maybe (not for sure, but maybe) twisted them a little because he/she was biased and hated the Twi-books with a passion, or do we trust someone who is Meyers really good friend and also is biased?

I don't know. I just don't think I want to be all Stephanie SUCKS without knowing her at all.

But you can tell what a person is like, to some extent, based on what they write in their books. Stephanie Meyer does write Bella as a girl completely dependent on other men, especially men who don't really want her. She's clingy and the general girl stereotype, as well as a teen aged mother.
